Excuse me...I was one of the people who kinda chuckled at that thread...I found a bit of humor in it, but there is no need for you to come here and start dissing on the people who did not enjoy the thread who may or may not have posted here.

Let bygones be bygones...the thread was closed b/c more than just a few people here thought it was distasteful. But others from all over the site felt the same way. (And some of the moderators agreed.) I'm sorry if you felt attacked about it...truly I am. But there is no need to come in here and taunt people some more.

If you don't have something constructive to add here, please don't harrass the others. That is all I will say on the topic, so don't try to continue to bait me. Thank you. :wave:

Yay for the book signing!

I'm not at work today...it's my day off. And I plan on going shopping.

I'm also thinking of dying my hair...I kinda want to do it before I go to Baltimore, but then again, I'm not sure, b/c I like the color it is now and don't want it to look weird in pics, but you can really see the gray and I'm ready for a change again. I'm tired of it.

hello, my darlings. Can't really talk, at work. Haven't been on in forever because as soon as I get home at night it's all I can do to eat something and then drag myself to bed.

I forgot how tired you get in the first trimester.

And before y'all freak out on me, I know I said I wanted another baby, but what I really meant was "I want a cigarette and a beer". Neither of which I have had in over two weeks.:cry:

So, I am happy but still very freaked out and sort of in shock. Haven't told Em yet.

Here is how selfish I am: "Dang, now I have to schlep an infant around Disney! This kid isn't gonna be fun for another three years!"

And how are you all?

I got PMs from moderators who loved the thread. Even Steve. I didn't attack you or mean to. But the member I quoted was deliberately trying to get people to side with him. Isn't that an attack itself? Yes. I logged on this morning and I had 4 PMs from people wondering where the thread went because they enjoyed it. There were more people who liked it than disliked it. It's just that the ones who disliked it complained so much that it looked that way. There were just a couple of members who had to constantly get the last word in and rip it appart until it was deleted. I was told by 2 people that it would happen because they group together and attack. So we all saw it coming and they attacked until it was closed. So I hope you can understand my disgust on this issue...especially when I pay for premium membership.

Ooo :sohappy: for getting your hair did! I am in DIRE need myself...I generally go in in the Spring for a 'sprucing'. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen before Baltimore. :hammer:

I don't know what you are talking about, but I was not trying to get anyone to take my side. I came here to ask a question. I also posted my opinion on the thread you started. I never even reported your thread. All I did was post saying that I don't think it's right to post photos of other people when these people had no idea that their photos would be posted on the internet.

I've knocked $2,000 off the price of the ring I was initially looking at for allie by lowering my standards a bit (but surprisingly not in the areas I really felt strongly about...)
