Hi!!

Yesterday was AWESOME.

A little backstory:
The musical director (he's also one of the conductors) of TLK goes to my dad's church. My dad is the deacon there, so he is friendly with basically all the parishioners. So, when my dad found out this guy's job, and wanted to get me a nice b-day present, he decided that we should go see TLK. We bought the tickets online and were all set to go. A few weeks went by where the music director guy wasn't at church. My dad was getting a little worried that he wouldn't see him before the show. Luckily, the music director went to church on Easter, so my dad got to talk to him then.
Story:
My mom, dad, and I got on the train bright and early, ready for a great day. We walked around for a bit, had lunch at Sbarro's, and then went to TLM theater to buy the souvenir photo book (it wasn't available when my mom and I saw it in January.) We bought the book, and continued on to the theater where TLK is playing. We take our seats and watched Act I. During Intermission, my dad went and talked to the music director, and he told him that we should go to the Stage Door after the show and tell the guard that we were waiting for us. He told us that he wouldn't be able to give us a tour, but he would get someone else to do it. Yay!
So after Act II, we left the theater and opened the Stage Door. The nice man at the desk was sitting there with a young boy. The little boy turned out to be one of the other Young Simbas! (Not the YS that we saw.) We got his autograph, and told the man who were waiting for. He told us that he had been informed, and the music director (MD) would be right down. So we waited, and the MD came out of the elevator. We got on the elevator, and when the doors opened, we were just off of stage left! From there, he gave me a BIG TLK poster with (I think)(almost) all of the Cast Members signatures! He had to leave, but his assistant gave us a great tour! She showed us where the cast members change their costumes, and where all the different things are stored. We even got to walk on the actual stage! We also met the Young Nala that we had seen perfrom. I'm pretty sure that Adult Nala walked past us at one point.
After the Tour, we hiked down to Penn Station and took the train home.

I had a WONDERFUL time. :D

I've already accepted that my college roomate will be unacceptable based alone on the fact that I'm impossible to live with.
My roomate and I will at least have one thing in common- horses.
I've applied to be in the equine dorm area/whatever you call it.

Impossible to live with?
That's interesting.
How are you impossible to live with?
