Good episode, with some nice callbacks to bring us back into the world.

It looks like this is going to tie into the Ahsoka series as well with Grogu seeing the purrgil. Maybe he'll be able to talk to them similar to Ezra and help Ahsoka on her quest to find him and Thrawn.

With some of the images we've seen from the trailers, could we see a return of the cloning story line? Could we find out that it has more to do with Grogu's origin than we first thought? Interesting.....

What is nice about Mando is the show is quest based. He has his marching orders and now needs to go on these side quests to get the objects/information he needs to meet his ultimate goal. It is just like an JPRG minus the blue hair.
What the show really needs is to put in the upper right quadrant of the screen a list of all his quests:

Get a part for I.G.
Restore I.G.
Find mines of Mandalore
Bathe in the waters of the mines
Teach Grogu "The Way"
Unite all Mandalore Factions
Deal with 'the pirate problem'
Keep Grogu from the forming First Order
Help Ahsoka find Thrawne and Ezra
Avoid Cara Dune

It wouldn't kill them to throw up a waypoint or two.

Mando stats at the bottom. I need to know the HP of all the members in the party.

As someone pointed out, Bo Katan is literally sitting on a throne doing nothing like an NPC quest giver in a video game too.

Fun episode. Did they get a budget increase or this more of a one-off, because it was pretty epic.

I really don't care about the Mandalorian quest. You're not allowed to take off your helmet but if you do you can redeem yourself by taking a bath but the bath has been destroyed so you can't and we can't make an exception. For reasons.

I would put it down to them being better at using volume and various other production techniques to create a show like this. It's always going to improve with each season/show. Except for Kenobi which the use of the technology went backwards.

It feels inevitable Mando will give up on his cult and join the reformed Mandolorians. Which makes this quest seem even more pointless. Although we will have to see where it goes.

There'd have been a lot more buzz and hype after this episode if they'd started with a very big episode. Everyone seems to be, "yeah Mando's back." No major hype.

Any bets on who might make a surprise cameo this season?

My money would be on Han. (along with Chewie of course). They've already done magic to deage Ford so a quick cameo for Mr. Everything wouldn't be a stretch.

Not too sure how plausible they are, but there are rumors suggesting a de-aged Han will make an appearence

De-aged Han was discussed back for Book of Boba Fett. Probably just people guessing what could be in the show.

The biggest thing going for Han being in it is the de-aged Harrison Ford in the upcoming Indiana Jones film. Yet would they be willing to steal it's thunder in a TV show before it's release?

I personally don't want Han in the show. Everyone in the galaxy knowing each other is kind of lame. Having said that, Han isn't far removed from Mando as far as people they know.

So if Din gets his way, Grogu will be helmeted and none will look at that adorable visage ever again.

Reading some reviews after watching this latest episode reminds me again that I am apparently one of the few people in the world with a properly adjusted television as I had no problem with any of the visuals.

I loved today’s episode, great to finally see Mandalore in live action

with bo katan having a bigger role I wonder if we will see more of the backstory of how she lost mandalore and the dark sabre? Can’t wait for next week

It's why we know Din will become less strict. There's no way they're going to slap a bucket with ears on that little head. Which makes it annoying they're spending so much time on it.

I didn't have an issue with the visual either. Never rule out that people will pirate stuff, then complain about the quality of that version.

I saw some of the reviews and how they were am saying it was hard to see things. I didn’t have any issues. In fact, I thought everything looked pretty crisp.

Been wondering who Christopher Lloyd will play, and my guess, after some of the dialogue in this episode is that he will be Bo Katan’s father, who is very much not dead
