But she and Grogu together were priceless. Luring him with food. Making his eyes roll with scritches. Having him as a Force-ally for the lawn game.

I just pretend she's playing someone who's awkward in real life. Cleverly, they used her only as an NPC quest-giver and not in some dramatic roll that depended on her *acting!*.

Anyone catch Alice references (Mad Hatter Tea Party, croquet game, Queen of Hearts hairdo)? Priceless.

Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd took me out of it as well. At least put some makeup or masks on these guys if you're going to use them. They're way too famous to just be random characters.

And now you know the genius of Lucas insisting on using less recognized actors in the original trilogy.

This epi was so cool, and then so odd-ball at times. Such stiff writing and acting that didn't seem real at all. It felt like a High School play for periods.

Then you had weird stuff like a battle droid acting like a human thief escaping... like it was taking straight off a motion capture instead of animating how the robots move everywhere else in the universe.

I don’t get the complaints about the side quests…complain about the episode if you did not care for it, but the Mandalorian was set up from the very beginning as classic episodic television with having single stand alone episodes and pushing a narrative in the plot forward as well
