First three weeks of Mandalorian according to Nielsen in million of minutes watched:

1. 823
2. 889
3. 1,115 (rank #3 for that week among new original series).

Boba's best week was 885. Stories of waning interest should themselves wane.

Andor is confirmed for 1 more season which they are filming now. I’m sure they said it leads right into Rogue one meaning there certainly won’t be a season 3
Yes, it was announced it was just going to be 2 seasons.

Unless maybe there's another season, but they're all Force Ghosts.

But seriously - that "Yes" "No" stuff was stupid adorable and I loved every second of it. Though seeing the baby inside IG's skeleton was a bit squicky.

The rest of the episode (aside from the Gideon/Thrawn/Shadow whatever stuff I'm not deep in the weeds enough to be interested in) tilted from Game of Thrones to Lord of the Rings and back again and I was fine with it.

Hoping that the Armorer's mention of hiding out on a moon (I think?) was a tip of where she took her ship of survivors when Gideon's fleet arrived. I don't want to lose my fave character and I definitely don't want her to turn out to be a villain.

That was a great episode!!! A bit of Dark Forces, a true connection to the sequel trilogy that makes sense, and mad anticipation for Ahsoka and the eventual Filoni movie! After watching this episode, I personally have no doubt that
Thrawn will survive the Filoni movie and come back in the Rey movie(s)
and that
the whole First Order/Final Order/Palpatine return was just a diversion from Thrawn's take over of the galaxy
.

They always said it would just be two seasons.

I assume someone has thought there's the idea of a Rebel Alliance series set during the OT.

Judging by the current plans, they'll do that to really hammer home the point Luke, Leia and Han were all just footnotes in the Star Wars story. It's pretty wild they're now adapting the stories of their post OT adventures and triumphs to exclude them, giving their achievements to other characters.

Star Wars fatigue...

I'll say, I know several people who aren't as obsessed and their plan is to watch it all once it's out. This is what I like about this style of release. The die-hards can watch at drop and spend a week theorizing and reading about all the little details while those who prefer to binge watch can eventually do just that as well.

Anyways... soon...

Darn we still don't know who the spy is
The escape was epic:joyfull:
Is Moff Gideon alive somewhere???????
Grogu and food, some things never change
The return of IG-11:joyfull:
Next season could go in several directions. I'm wondering if we'll need to watch Ashoka to get clues
Super cute ending
The season is over:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Exciting, but somewhat disappointed. I assumed we would have seen
the mythosaur come to the rescue of Bo
or
the first appearance of Thrawn
or
some other cameo
.

That is indeed an opinion.

Here is another:

Andor was the best thing to come out of the Star Wars universe since Rogue One.

And Rogue One was the best thing to come out of the Star Wars universe since Return of the Jedi.

Yes, including Grogu & his daddy and Darth Maul and Ewan McGregor's spot-on Alec Guinness impersonation - all of which I love. :)

But quality storytelling is quality storytelling and Andor (and Rogue One) nailed it. Just excellent.
I wouldn’t say “perfect”…

It just had the right emotional tones in some scenes

And that’s all you need. And that’s what LFL isn’t getting.
