Split Stay Logistics???

Okay. Thinking of doing a split stay for our next trip perhaps starting out at POFQ then moving over to a deluxe for the remainder. Here's my logistics question: if we're depending on WDW transportation and don't have a rental car how do we get our baggage from one resort to the next? I can't remember ever reading where this was mentioned. :shrug:

i'm almost positive that disney will get it there for you. you go to a park for the day, then when you come back to your new resort, check in and you baggage will already be there.

although you will need to pack it.....:ROFLOL:

You'll need to arrange the baggage removal / collection from your first resort with the staff

We did this last week. We spent arrived on 9/20 took the ME to the Beach club, then after 4 nights switched over to the WL. All you have to do is get all of your luggage, including "carry ons", call bell services and tell them that you're switching restorts. The come and get your luggage, give you a tag and then when you get to the new resort later to check in, you just call bell services and they bring your luggage. You have physically be in your room to collect the luggage though (unlike ME). When we left the Beach Club, we spent the AM at EPCOT, and then took the bus to the WL, pretty darned easy. Next year we'll probably switch it and do WL first and BC second. Resort hopping can be a great way to spend your stay.

I believe you will have to move you own car though...

Exactly!!! Baggage service will move your luggage from the first resort to the second. Belle
