What is that and where can I find the rest of it!?

Edit: Reverse searched, of course it's not sold anymore. Thanks for posting, that's absolutely adorable.

Perhaps it's the sentimental part of me, but this feels eerily similar to Horizons' closing; as though we're losing an attraction the likes of which will not be repeated.

The talent simply isn't there.
What talent is left?

MMRR was co-led by Rafferty (lengthy Imagineering resume) and Carter. If not mistaken, it was one of her first major projects.

Baxter’s supposed involvement seems to be window dressing to reassure the die hards. There’s been no public indication since the initial press release he’s involved in a meaningful way.

It's hard to be more Disney than Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.

So who got the last photo on Splash Mountain? Not sure if there's a better topic to ask this question. I just logged in for the first time since D23.

The ride redone as Tiana's and still drawing massive crowds - as it will because yes, it's a log flume - can still be a failure in terms of execution, quality, music, how memorable it is, and on and on.
Many popular things are terrible.
McDonald's is terrible.
I hope Tiana's is both popular and very well done.
McDonald’s is not a “Failure.”
Popular things are not”Failures”.

That’s all I was objecting to. Terrible and failure are not the same things. Everything you listed Tiana could “fail” at are mostly subjective and vary from person to person.

I think Frozen Ever After is terrible. But any ride that remains popular and makes enough people smile is not a failure. Habit Heroes was a failure.

This is going to be the most scrutinized makeover in theme park history. I got my popcorn ready.

No, but it was their last chance to ride for a long time. Also riding the ride is not necessary to take the project seriously. The original project team for splash mountain certainly took their project seriously and there was no ride for them to ride before it was built.

Actually, they have to physically build the ride before they can design it.

I don't know why people think the Princess and the Frog is targeting a demographic too young to ride a log flume ride. Song of the South was much more childish and cutesy in tone than PatF was. Brer Rabbit is in no way more mature than than Tiana. I think the concerns are overblown.

I think the only issue with the new ride is the title. "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" sounds rather tame and doesn't seem to convey the big drop.
Tiana's Scary Adventure.

And make it mostly about Facilier.

What can be more classic Disney than that?
