Splash Mountain refurb

Really? BTMRR looks pretty good to me. What's the problem with it?
Stuck bats (already)
No rainbow cavern effects (some pools are actually dark)
Lift C scene is a joke, and the "swarm of bees" projection is still there. No shaking rocks. No falling rocks. Joke of an effect.
Most brake zone geysers off.

On a brighter note, exit geysers and Tumbleweed flood are still working. The former a bit too well when windy!

Thanks for everyone's responses to my question. I really wasn't trying to be a smart a$$ saying that. I admit that I didn't really remember or miss any of the things listed except for the falling rocks but I feel like they have been missing for a really long time. Probably not a matter of deciding not to fix them, but more of a conscious decision to permanently remove them. I probably don't go to WDW frequently enough to have all of the details memorized on the rest of the stuff. My impression when I was there this June was that the new paint job and queue area looked pretty good.

I hate to say this and make a judgement before work even begins, but I am pretty certain that this Splash Mountain refurb will not return the ride to its original exact form. Some things will probably get fixed and others will not. I just hope that the major glaring issues are addressed. I know some will say that is setting the bar way too low, but I am a realist. I don't think I am going out on a limb in saying that you guys are almost definitely going to be disappointed.

I'm not one to make hasty assumptions usually, but yeah I seriously doubt most of the glaring show elements of Splash Mountain will even be addressed at all. I cannot see it being nearly enough time, and we all know the track record of the incompetent people running the place. Far more is wrong with Splash than there was with Big Thunder when it went down for refurb and it's being given far less time for refurb than Big Thunder.

Very sad to hear Big Thunder is already sporting even more broken effects than the ones not touched during its refurb. What a shameful mess, really they should be ashamed. And so soon after such a long refurb. I literally facepalmed when I read what Martin reported.

Spirited Change cannot come soon enough. Though from what '74 has said about not liking Meg's replacement very much...I just don't know anymore.

This is just depressing..it looks like something from a post-nuclear explosion. Hopefully the refurbishment helps a lot. *This photo does not belong to me. (I got it from Rage Cast Member Tumblr)

It's pretty sad WDW needs these 'Fix Me' pictures for all four Mountains...

We all know about Expedition Everests broken effects and main show element...

Obviously the half done job on Big Thunder...

A Space Mountain more painful than any other(aside from maybe Paris') with a halfway done refurb...

And Splash...multiple animatronics not functioning and a laughing place that's a joke.

Exactly
Maybe, but they are factually correct.

Whether people notice it or not, there are multiple effects not working on Big Thunder...or put in the wrong way. (Still can't believe the falling rocks projector is upside down!)

I'm a coaster junkie, and even I realize how rough Space Mountain is. I seriously almost got whiplash on my last ride. I've never experienced that on a coaster before, aside from maybe Shockwave that used to be at Six Flags in Illinois.
