No problem. Don't be afraid to post links no matter what the source is.

I was at MK on Nov. 9th with a CM friend and was told that splash has been breaking down regularly lately. I was also told it was shut down because a chunk of the mountain itself had fallen in the flume .....
That is sad I love Splash mountain.
It is very sad, Splash is my favorite ride. Hopefully later this month when it reopens we will all be pleasantly suprised by a thorough top to bottom refurb. By all accounts, this sounds like it will be the case. That is sad I love Splash mountain.
I wouldn't hold your breath. The past has taught us to expect the least amount of work for the most amount of time.It is very sad, Splash is my favorite ride. Yeah thats why I am hoping. I am going on what some insiders have said, but I will be waiting for photo evidence. I have this awful feeling that the tarps will still be up in the load/unload area.I wouldn't hold your breath. The past has taught us to expect the least amount of work for the most amount of time.
My thoughts as well. Nothing in recent history suggests doing more than the bare minimum. Even if it does open looking grand, it still has to be kept in such a condition instead of being allowed to fall apart and rot again.I wouldn't hold your breath. Getting close.Went to MK tonight and they were testing the ride.
We'll see, and fingers crossed.
Do you know if they're just testing the ride in the evening hours?
I'm in your camp, I'm guarded. We've seen the bondo repair to the outside holes, curious to see what they accomplished to the actual show within the mountain. Hoping, but I'd be stupid not to be guarded. Expect the very minimum and our dreams will not be squashed. My thoughts as well. Nothing in recent history suggests doing more than the bare minimum. Why are people hoping for an early opening. Surely the later it's closed, the more they're gonna fix properly!!
