Actually, they're probably pretty thankful that they're not 20th Century Fox right now.

Anyone else see the Harambe Nights email that just went out with a teaser video of nothing? Sounds like DAK is doing some sort of Saturday Night event thru the summer. Assuming the media will get full deets this weekend.

Anyone have any insight?

Maybe they are 'testing' some of the tech for the new night attractions?

Testing the night safari and/or AP preview of the Lion King in the new digs seems like the logical choice.

The AP after hours events are very popular at DLR, so perhaps George K is testing the waters at WDW. There are far more AP's at DLR, but after hours events could bump up AP numbers.

good point. And I'm sure anything to help spread the crowds out of the Hub at Magic Kingdom this summer will be a welcome relief to WDW leadership.

yeah to help pay for nextgen, same reason for the quick service beverage/food prices going up.

No argument with anything you said, but I'd add he played a non-mocap role in The Prestige and was quite good. He and Van Sydow make me feel better about this movie than I did over the weekend.

Then again, Lucas had Neeson, MacGregor, Jackson and Portman in TPM and still managed to make a bad movie...
Well.. Anakin's acting was so atrocious it killed anyone. Portman was awful too... but I blame that on the horrible "love" script by Lucas.

still... I liked Jackson "badass" style.

Dragon 2 is going to be a complete dog. There's no call for it. Maybe two years ago, but that franchise is dead now. Especially with the show airing on the Cartoon Network, you aren't going to get people to spend $60 to take the family to the movies for something they think they can see free at home.

Dreamworks is in a serious tailspin right now.

I dont think the movie is dead, but agree with you.. Dreamworks is REALLY burning their franchise with too many shows.. even on TV.
they did the same with Madagascar.

I hope illumination doesn't make the same mistake with the Minions of Despicable Me.

The last AP event registration took down the entire site IIRC

The Dragon show at least tries to develop the gap between movies and uses elements from the books such as the villain Alvin the Treacherous. It's the one Dreamworks show that shows some actual effort in animation and writing. Of course, Dreamworks Animation is pushing their franchises forward because they actually aren't connected to the regular Dreamworks anymore, though I'm imagining that with them owning Classic Media now, they'll probably look into rebooting some of those properties as shows in addition to stuff like the Sherman and Peabody movie that was just released or that Hot Stuff movie they're planning now.

I haven't taken part in the discussion but in their defense, cast members aren't really spoilers. I haven't even been following the news and it was pretty clear that the big 3 were preparing from the beginning.

So I guess that means I'm free to post anything about game of thrones this season since the books of been out forever, right?

I wonder if the hippos will have to have strands of "firefly" fiber optics removed from their stomachs?.......again

Not at all equal unless you've never seen Return of the Jedi and are completely unaware that the heroes saved the day and defeated the Empire. There is no spoiler in knowing that Actor X will play an unnamed role that is not related to what was established in the Expanded Universe. You're just looking to be angry about something.
