Browsing the social media book on Easter Sunday, did you here the one about the Fastpass plus reservation that magically changed to another when the time arrived? And that guest relations couldn't help at all?

If not I'm sure you'll read about it soon. Kind of happened to the wrong person.
Out of all the problems wtih FP+ we have never had reports of random deletions. My bet - user error.

Surely his Fantasyland blog meetups, Fantasyland "media" previews, and his upcoming freebies at the Mine Train event make up for him not getting in today.

As you can tell, I have no sympathy.

UPDATe. oh thank goodness. He has worked his way in - now we can rest easy and enjoy the rest of our Easter knowing he is in to the meet and greet.

We get it, you don't care that it happened to Ricky. And that's fine. But the concept that this technical glitch can happen to anyone else and really upset some guests is a terrible concept. This glitch never would have happened with the old FP system. Now that guests are required to pre-plan their vacation, if one thing goes wrong like this, it could screw up the whole day. I know, who cares that this happened because it happened to Ricky. But if it happened to a sweet family who was visiting WDW for the first time, it would be awful.

Also, the thought of doing "sadistic things" is fine, but becoming a member here & posting a rebuttal is crossing a line?

I was a small kid (with a smart mouth) which forced my father to teach me to fight (to defend myself) at an early age. He taught me many things and one that rang true and still does is "the more a guy TALKS about kicking your , the more scared he is. Its the quiet guy that you dont see coming, he is the guy that actually wants to kick your and doesnt need to hear himself say it a million times to convince himself he can do it."

These guys have probly never been punched in the face hard and probly wouldnt talk like that if they knew better. "If ya knew better, you'd do better"

Yes, this kind of technical glitch shouldn't have happened. Clearly there are a few bugs in the system.

So the other day I was at a high end, perhaps a GRAND resort and overheard a couple telling of their FP+ experiences. They were saying that they don't like it because of their kids. They are on their kids schedules and they dont have time to go in and change every reservation every time their kids want to do something else. Also they mentioned that the wristband was something else the kids could lose.

I'm not going to sit here and slam the system. Its come a long way and certainly improved. When it works, it works great. I'm more critical of the concept. You're making more and more guests just jump through hoops. You're forcing them to plan every minute of their vacation just like they're forced to plan every minute of work and frankly, who wants that?

The trip commandos Disney's survey team used to rig their MM+ survey results to sell management and the BoD on it.

That's great news. Damage limitation at its fastest.

Once they realised the catalogue of errors.
I'm so happy the grown man is able to meet the princesses..

As far as that Phillip dude. People may write off what he does behind a keyboard is harmless but he is clearly disturbed and not just an example of an internet tough guy. His two big hobbies are being an extreme Disney defender and chatting with adult film actresses on twitter trying to meet them.

Don't think I'm a prude or anything but trying to force a meeting with your favorite adult film star is like trying to befriend a cow before you enjoy a ribeye from the very same animal.

As usual you're deed on, when I used the system, it worked. I didn't get the fast passes we wanted because we just didn't have the schedule that Disney wanted us to have. It also suggested attractions that we would never go on. I believe for a family, it adds stress that no one really needs on a vacation.

Assume you are talking about Brigante? The guy continues to sink lower in my book. A "man" at his age who's entire day and happiness today revolves around him seeing Anna and Elsa. I mean, seriously, how old are we? When he started having problems with his FP+ he started to sound like the spoiled little rich girl that he is. I can imagine him pouting, stomping his feet and moping around the park because he didn't get what he wanted. Imagine if you or I started tweeting our problems...think any of us would get an actual phone call from guest relations while we were in the park? Sad that their are lots of families that would love to meet and greet with A&E today but jack hole bloggers including El Brigante are filling the queue. Someone should film that dorkfest like Disney did the Cali grill meetup. Gotta believe there was fainting by a few of them once they reached their goal.

He is also an ex member of these boards until he got ceremoniously booted off.

A real oddball who thinks he can hide behind the Internet and attack anyone since they can't respond. Woe betide anyone who contradicts his warped, blinkered way of thinking.

Quite sad really.
I sent him a nice tweet to remind him of his childish ways. I'm eagerly awaiting a response. He tweeted some remarks about wdwmagic on the 8th

I wouldn't be surprised if we just don't know the whole story here. Maybe the app had an issue but his magic band still would have had the FP for Anna and Elsa? Maybe he went in to look and play and accidentally changed something (or started to) or maybe wdw1974 got some of his inside buddies to cause him a problem since he has so much hated for the Disney blog "whor*s" and has been tracking his every move with RFID lol

One Little Spark...
I don't care who you are, blogger or not, if you legitimately book a FP+ it should work without vanishing. Everyone's has the same opportunity to book them, so it's not as if he's robbing someone of the opportunity.
FP+ does work. It never breaks. MDE works, and people never get to see Donald.

It's the best thing ever.

Before FP+ people couldn't reserve rides in advance and had to actually spend their days wandering around the parks deciding what to do.

This is the new millennium, ain't nobody got time for that.

Market studies show that immersive environments and well themed experiences are overrated. Have you SEEN what Six Flags can get away with? Meh.

But don't worry, someday we'll have giant blue space smurfs. Until then, you too can book an experience meeting a mid-20s female in a wig. She'll even give you a hug!

That is why you should plan our your trip to the minute in advance using MDE.

This is the future of theme parks, and Disney is way ahead. No one wants rides. They want iDevice apps.

"Der der derppy der der derpy der." - Random WDW Executive

See, that says it all. Universal blows, Disney KNOWS!
