Close...you forgot about the white linen jacket...Me too, but for this guy in the photo to be authentically 80s he needs to be wearing a pink shirt...not blue.
All guys wore pink in the 80s...trying to emulate *Miami Vice*.

Disney has made good commercials fairly recently... Don't know what happened with the 7DMT one.
IDK what the problem is with commercials advertising WDW.
I wonder if the same creator of this commercial, was the one who also greenlighted the music classic song changes of Alvin and the Chipmunks to Rap as well...You know, watching the Gangsta Dwarf Crew rappin' "Hi - Ho" -- it takes on a whole different meaning, eh?? Proves that whoever green-lighted this commercial is pretty clueless.
Not to the levels seen in the past decade.. and I'm talking about general advertisement, not just disney.Again, this is not new. As already mentioned Tower of Terror commercials showed guests standing in the elevator. And I'm sure there's more examples. They're advertisements, not documentary pieces.

Question. Why does Disney feel the need to falsify it's product so badly in it's commercials? Some TV ad's show princesses running up to hug your child on a crowd-less Main Street U.S.A. Others show a grass field in front of the castle where (with absolutely NO wait whatsoever), you just walk right up to greet a handful of characters all waiting to see you. And now you have this: Turbo Seven Dwarfs coaster which seems to be a faster ride than RnRC. What gives? If Disney is the #1 tourist destination on the globe, why can't it have the confidence to advertise it's product for what it truely is?
7DMT is a slower-moving family coaster appropriate for smaller children. No shame in that at all.
photos!!!Lots of cosplay today. Lots of baaaaad cosplay.
Doesn't just about every business 'falsify' to a degree what they have to offer. For instance, Denny's claims to serve food...
I wonder if they'd advertise if you're willing to wait 5 hours in a rope switchback in the hot humid Floridian sun, you'll get to meet two poorly paid cast members pretending to be 'The Frozen Twins'.
Looking for it
Edit. This is the one I saw, not sure if it's the same for others.
And Walmart has attractive customers and employees. False advertising is par for the course in advertisements.I'm sure this is familiar:

Food is always more appealing in commercials and WDW never has lines.
