As a former band member, band parent, and chaperone (AND my wife runs the concession stand at football games and the competition we host), I also am enjoying this!

Here's the WDW connection....I MISS FUTURECORPS!!!!
Wait... Dad?

Lol jk. But seriously. With my two younger siblings, my parents have breathed marching band for the past 5-6 years.

I would love a Frozen ride but would stomp my feet if it replaced Maelstrom. They already overtook the stave church. Can we rip out Storybook Circus? I volunteer to help!!

To connect the 'foodie' talk to Disney:

I hope the folks from the Mouse are monitoring this and see how much good, simple, and AUTHENTIC food resonates with people. People will invest time & money to travel and then wait in line for the REAL THING.

And since the spirit is away, I can drop the following statement:

The season finale of agents of shield was BY FAR the best hour of scripted television this century. Paxtons Garrett was the best televised villan since Gul Dukat...

I think the only thing they understood is that folks will eat gas station subs and processed cheese food. They are probably thinking 'why do we try so hard, cut the cheese!'

@PhotoDave219 I can't make it to philly this weekend so I settled for the Philly transplant.

Sorry, I order mine with "salad" on top then proceed to pick it off and eat it as is. I guess I feel better about the 1000 calories I'm consuming if I shovel down a handful of lettuce and tomatoes first.

I ordered the "wiz wit" and he knew what's up. None of that fancy menu crap.

Anyhow, thought of you, wanted to share. It's close to ones I've had in Philly but...the bread isn't right. Salad aside, the bread was lacking.

I haven't had a chance to watch it to completion but the Clone Wars movie that kicked off the series was absolutely horrible. It was after watching that that I realized George Lucas really wanted to ruin every facet of SW that fans liked. Everything from Jabba having a baby to his flamboyant gay uncle zero the hutt to Anakin all of a sudden having an apprentice that has never been mentioned anywhere in SW lore was just stupid. Season 1 was a little better but still pretty bad.

Thankfully, Disney is going to distance themselves from that whole era and will hopefully clean up the brand.

The Clone Wars was the only thing worth a poop since ROTJ IMO. The movie wasn't the best representation of the show but there were still some really great things about it. The introduction of Asohka and the battle going up the mountain stand out for me.

Personally, the show is essential for me and some of the characters introduced (Asohka, Rex, Cody, Asaaj, etc.) are some of my very favorites.

Keep going. It picks up steam in Season 2 and keeps getting better from there. Ahsoka earns her place and Anakin is better developed then he ever was in the prequels and you can actually buy that he used to be a good person and not just a whiny tool, as well as showing hints of growing darkness within him spectacularly.

Yeah, a real shame. But I still have hope. If a ride is announced for another resort I suspect TDO would be forced to build it here too due to how well the movie did. I just hope it's not in Epcot.

It only belongs in the MK or DHS. If it goes in DHS I'd expect a show replacing an older show. If in MK I'd expect a ride. Since storybook Circus isn't going anywhere anytime soon, how about ripping out Princess Fairytale Hall and putting it there(and move the MnG elsewhere) or demo the Speedway and place it there(along with more rides, shops, and restaurants!).

Or they could expand north of Fantasyland and have a whole land with both a trackless ride and a bobsled ride. Also a dedicated meet & greet for Anna & Elsa. Maybe a restaurant too. But that's just wishful thinking that they would actually expand rather than rip something out.

Frozen could have been perfect for part of NFL. Ditch Storybook circus. Put it where it belongs, in a multimillion dollar area purpose built for it and any similar franchise.

Oops...

Apart from the fact that no one five years ago (including Disney and every fanboi) would have ever imagined any of their own animated flicks being this popular (even above Toy Story 3?!?). It's only in retrospect that they could have dedicated more resources than toilettes towards their 3rd golden age, but to plan for it would have been far too risky.

It's definitely a perfect place for it, and I'm hopeful we wish farewell to one or two autotopia's to make way for it.

I can almost guarantee Frozen gets pushed on OLC, and why shouldn't it? It's on track to be the number one movie all-time there!

They have plenty of room to expand. No need to rip out anything.

Oh, I'm sure he'll just shovel dirt on this thread as soon as he gets back.

Then it'll be off to Spirited Seventh Heaven or Seventh Voyage or...
So what you're saying is that Disney is building the 8th voyage of Sinbad, but making it 87.5% as good as the original?

Also.... Its 100% confirmed that the reason the Hyperspace Hoopla went away is because Lucasfilm got a stick up their about how the characters were being used.
That's very interesting. So when Lucas was in charge, he didn't care about the wh**ing out of his IP. When Kathleen Kennedy/Disney is in charge they're protected a bit more? It sounds like she was largely behind the Trowbridge move, but more importantly was behind the Fitzgerald move.

NY pizza is thin because they can't make a good crust :) buffalo has the best pizza to go along with the world's best bar food.
This is more or less true. If you can't make a good crust, you make a thin crust pizza. It's very easy to screw up pizza crust. Having said that, I'm a fan of New York style pizza over Chicago style. Jon Stewart has had several great rants on it (not super family friendly):
