I'm longing for the day that I walk into my local grocery store and see Mickey ice cream bars like the one in my avatar. Call me a fangrrl, I don't even care. I'd buy several boxes and wouldn't be able to guarantee they make it home. It's easy to dismiss something so silly and simple as an ice cream bar when you're a local, but when you only get them on special vacations...you think about them all the time. Ditto dole whips.

My first thought when I saw that was "you gotta be effing kidding me" and I think your comment has made my day. Need an ice pack?

Without a doubt.
The closest I can get to a Mickey bar at home is a Dove Bar with dark chocolate coating.:)

I see where youre coming from. I thought it was cute and a fun way to end the day.

Alas, with Ep7 coming, I can see where they want to end anything "weird" with their characters.

Too much of any one thing you know? I mean I think it would be cool if there was one point where the dead serious character bends and does something unexpected.. but when you go past the edge, and then do it a dozen times way past the line.. for like 30mins.. you lose all the edge and it's just a mockery. All IMHO.. but I'm glad to see it go.

Contrast that say.. with the vader+stormtrooper thing they did with the parade at DL. THAT I found cool and fun.

It's already been banned in many places in the U.S. and U.K.

The problem is that there are just too many small and unobtrusive video recording devices now available to the general public.

But the emperor uses urban slang, then dances... it's so funny because it happens every year.....

Never understood the facination with watching cast dance on stage. I don't like watching any dancing on stage.. unless it's the kind that you don't mention in front of the wives...
And even then it's not as fun as in Canada where you're welcome on stage.

Stuff like Hyperspace Hoopla and Star Wars Kinect in conjunction with decisions made by George Lucas on the Prequels and clone wars cartoon is what ruined Star Wars for me. ed me off to that he justified it later by saying "oh well star wars was meant for kids all along anyway so I don't know why adults are getting upset". So happy he is no longer anywhere near that franchise.

And now for something completely different...

saw Godzilla 3D tonight..

pretty cool film with some outstanding effects.

i liked how the monsters were free to do their stuff while putting the humans as basically helpless spectators

i recommend:cool:
No spoilers!
