Love all the hate Springfield is getting.

Vastly improved outdoor thematics, vastly improved dining options we've never seen at Universal Orlando, a fantastically themed Moe's bar, and an interior food court that's no better/worse themed than many, many, many Disney QS locations.

But you're all right. That's awful.

Have you been there? I have. I found it to be plain, boring and not very bar like. The overwheming about of food court patrons inside really took away the bar atmosphere.

Yup. Loved it. Duff Dry was awesome, and it felt like Moe's to me. I look forward to going back and getting a Flaming Moe in a few months

I thought the interior of the bar looked exactly like it did in the cartoon. It even had the Love Tester.

I guess I'm crazy and wrong.

It appears that the mods have been very busy this morning...

I noticed that the Disney Parks Blog post about the addition of the last piece of track for the SDMT mentions that the attraction is scheduled to open in 2014. Was that always the case? I thought I remember reading/hearing that the official opening was early 2015.

I wonder what kind of area The Incredibles would have got in DCA. Aside from the KUKA arm ...ride? what else would have been there. Can't wait for that coffeetable book to come out.

We do realize we are recreating something that is drawn in simple FLAT 2d animation right? The simpsons is not a highly textured environment... The recreation should be similarly flat and uniform...

The way it was billed to me was that it was a stand alone bar, not overflow seating for a food court.
