Best binge-watching I've ever had was with Breaking Bad. Watched the 5.5 seasons in an embarrassingly-short amount of time this summer.

By the end of season 1 I was hooked, almost like the show itself is Walt's 99%-pure blue meth.

I'm surprised there are some people here who said they couldn't get into the show. I got a little tired of the over-reliance on handheld camerawork in Season 1. But that becomes less common in the following seasons. Pretty much everything after Season 1 is an A+ for me. I think the "Crystal Blue Persuasion" montage in Season 5 is one of the best things I've ever seen on a television show.
I didn't love the Crytal Blue Persuasion montage. The episode with the fly was a little boring...good in theory, but dragged a bit. Sometimes, Skylar annoys me a little. She's just so annoying!

Not every show is for everyone, of course, but I don't think anyone could watch five seconds of the first episode and not want to watch another minute...then the whole episode...and the next one...and then you're just hooked, lol.

It's such a great show. So many great moments...the floor crashing in, the guy's head being carried by the turtle...and Hank sitting on the toilet, finding out Walt is Heisenberg! Can't wait for the final shows!

It really is a shame that this show was on HBO. It was ( is) an incredible show. Doesn't get the accolades it so deserves. Then again if it was on a mainstream network it wouldn't have been as good. It showed the dirty side of Baltimore......which was pretty accurate. Unfortunately a lot of people use The Wire and make an opinion on Baltimore based on the show. Which is inaccurate.
It's accurate of the drug trade of the mid-90s inner city Bawlmer.

And you didn't mention Gus straightening his tie after... you know?!?

My favorite thing about Breaking Bad is watching the arc of Walt. In the beginning, he was pretty goofy: cooking in his underwear and so on. By now, he's so far down the rabbit hole, it's almost like he's played by a different actor. I remember feeling the same way about Locke and smoke monster Locke in LOST. Both brilliant performances.

The Wire is the best show I've ever seen, start to finish.
It's definitely up there. Top ten for me, certainly.
And Omar is one of the best characters ever, too. (IMHO)

Levy: Why’d you shoot Mike-Mike in his, um... hind parts, Mr. Little?
Omar: Let’s say we had a disagreement.
Levy: A disagreement over?
Omar: Well, you see, Mike-Mike thought he should keep that cocaine he was slingin’ and the money he was makin’ from slingin’ it. I thought otherwise.

I loved Gus. I miss Gus. I liked Mike a lot, too.

Watching Walt has been my favorite thing, too. There was a scene with a crazy drug lord...the one whose building Walt kind of blew up...the guy was crazy paranoid and wildly violent. I was thinking during the scene about how getting to that position would almost guarantee paranoia...and I wondered if Walt would end up like that. Of course, Walt isn't nuts.

I like this show. I even like the mini webisodes, especially the one with Badger, lol. In case you didn't see it...

I think it's one of the best shows ever. Love it! (Can you tell?)

Don't know how anyone couldn't like that montage. The song, the momentum of the montage, the matching of shots, the passage of time, the absence of Jesse, the aerial shot over the subdivision houses cloaked in the pest control tarps, what it signifies in terms of the size of the operation, domestic and international.

Can't wait for the final eight episodes.

And, yeah, the women characters on the show can be poorly written. That's one thing Mad Men does better (Joan and Peggy).

I've never liked that song. Maybe I should re-watch it. The first time, though, I really didn't care for it. I did love the extermination tents, though, lol.

Is it just me or does it seem like there are a lot of refurbs scheduled for this summer/spring. None seem to be major or particularly long but there seems to be a lot of them. Did somebody finally loosen the purse strings and step up maintenance or are all these rides getting NextGen upgrades? Does anyone in the know, know what's up?

It could be a coincidence that they're just rolling in a bunch of Next Gen stuff, or it could be Georgie K insisting on some of this stuff.

Interesting. I wonder why it's only offered at the partner hotels and not the 3 UNI hotels. Also, they make you book 4 nights & a 3 day park pass but only give you free dining for 2 days. They should give you free dining for 4 days since you have to book 4 nights.
I'm trying to remember from my trip there in January. I remember seeing that you could buy a meal plan in what seemed like a pretty good discount for a day or more, right there in the parks.

Yes, but that is a different plan than what this new special is about. The meal plan you are talking about is unlimited food for the QS places.
