I'm not sure if I understand the question, but he's got a lot of villains including the Abomination and that little green guy with the huge, long head (I can't remember his name).

My favorites were always the ones when the army was chasing after him and he was almost like a victim: "Why do puny humans hunt Hulk? Why do puny humans shoot Hulk with missiles that sting Hulk's skin? Why must Hulk smash puny humans into mushy yechy stuff?"

I would say the Hulk's greatest foes have been himself and mankind, but yes he has many advisaries, almost on a Godzilla level, cause Hulk is destructive usually as well.;)

Rhino is more of a Spider-Man villain... Gary is right, his main villains are the Abomination, the Leader and Thunderbolt Ross. I'm trying to think of someone else... There's always the Thing...

I just got through watching the very cool Stan Lee interviews on the Mutants, Monsters, and Marvels DVD.

There is a Fantastic Four, Sliver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, and X-men 3 movie in the works (already greenlit). This is outside of the Daredevil, Hulk, X-men 2, and Amazing Spider-man movies we know are coming soon.

How old is that documentary? I CAN"T WAIT to get mine!!! December 12th!!! :p :p :p :p

Hey, Spidey, what did you think of the DVD? Have you checked spidermanhype.com for the list of Easter Eggs? My main peeve about the DVD is the lack of deleted scenes...

This is possible, and they may not have cut that many scenes either.

The interviews do not appear to be very old. There is even a cool interview with Stan's Wife, and Mr. Lee tells us about a crazy Fantastic Four movie that was made but never released just so rights to the franchise would not be lost, I even saw a pic of Thing for that movie a few years back. But rest easy, cause a real movie is coming out in a few more years. I'm curious to see how Silver Surfer turns out, he is a stretch, even for a super hero in my eyes.

Well, I just wonder how he maintains his shine, does he carry Brasso and a cloth with him, if so I'm afraid to ask where he stores it, he has no clothes on. However... maybe traveling through space at high speed on a surf board keeps the shine.

I wonder if he is Jealous of Gold? :hammer:

I've got a copy of that movie on tape.

Here's a link where you can buy it and there is a scene from the movie:

I wish they would have saved the Silver Surfer for the Fantastic Four and used him with the original story in a 2nd or 3rd film.

Yep, that's the Thing I saw. The whole group actually looks better than I thought they would, I will get that tape I imagine, is the quality ok? I am glad they had enough sense to wait til they could do it right though. Yes, I have always found the Surfer as a sub-par Hero. Unfortuantely this seems to be one character that Stan Lee just loves and he so wants to see him get his own movie. I agree that involvement in a FF movie would have been very cool. I hope that we can see crossovers in the future. I believe a shot in the Spider-man movie is, or was, suppose to have the FF tower in the background right? Easily Human Torch could guest appear in a later movie, or if Venom is involved in a story, we could have the movie FF team guest star in a Spider-man movie, that would be cool. :D

For the longest time I thought that the Silver Surfer was Iceman...I would love to see a movie on Iceman...I know he's not a huge character but I'm just thinking of the effects he could have (or at least have him IN a movie...(don't even know if he's a part of a group or team...but wasn't he one of the amazing spider friends?) (but for some reason I'm thinking he's one of the X-men since he made a brief appearance in the original)

The quality of the copy I have is very poor. It is very dark and difficult to see what is going on in many spots. The site I posted even comments that his copy is removed by a few generations, but there may be cleaner copies available. You may want to search around. I think I remember even seeing it on DVD once, but I can't remember where.

I'm also hoping for crossovers, but one problem could be that different studios have the rights to different characters, but hopefully they can work out some deals. I didn't hear about the FF tower from Spider-Man. They might have been able to slip in the old baxter building without it looking too out of place, but they couldn't use the new one with the huge "4" without it looking stupid.

Spider-man and his Amazing Friends was great but odd I thought. Didn't Stan Lee narrate that show?

Anyway, Human Torch from FF is actually a good friend of Spidey. Ice-man is a mutant, and I don't think he has ever built an Ice-Block to bust out of to become Ice-man either.

Yes, I hope he will be in X-men more the next go round. I hear there will be several new mutants in the sequel.

Do you put Silver Cubes in you Tea, and buy Jewelry made from Ice?

I think I've heard that he will have an expanded role in the next film. He was originally an X-Man. I'm not sure what spider friends is, but if it's a cartoon, they often mix and match characters.

Aaaaah, now I remember that cartoon. I think that's the reason they used "Herbie" in the Fantastic Four cartoon instead of the Human Torch, because the rights to the Human Torch were used for the flaming girl (sorry, don't know her name) in that cartoon.

And yes, Freak that's from the FF film. It's a rubber suit that doesn't look terrible as long as the actor stands very still. As soon as he moves, you can see wrinkles. He also has a facial expression that doesn't really change, so again it looks alright as long as he's not moving.

Freak, read up above, this movie was fairly recent, and was only made to keep the rights to the franchise, it was never released to the public, and may never be, unless it's an extra on a FF DVD some day. It was never meant to be taken seriously.

Spidey would know better...since...they were his friends

But...the Amazing Spider Friends were... Spider-man, Iceman, and there was a girl that could fly and turn into fire (kinda like a female human torch)
