And...where do I get a jacket like that with the (X) on it!!!

Oh...and did Nightcrawler get his powers by getting stuck in the Exxon Valdez incident? :hammer:

(I thought his skin was BLUE...not Black)

Hey, wasn't Conan a Marvel Character, that was made into a decent movie for the time period.

Yeah, but I think that one's tricky. I think originally there were Conan novels and the comic book came later (not sure though), sort of like Doc Savage, so if that is right, he wouldn't really be a Marvel Character.

And don't forget Howard the Duck!

I know the android Human Torch you're talking about, but that was before even my time (and before Stan Lee back when Marvel had Captain America, the Human Torch and the Sub Mariner).

He now solely has the power of water resistence. ROFL

I wish there were more characters with absolutely useless powers, especially mutants... seems like each one of them get something that can be very powerful in life, where are the mutants who can eat a whole lot of food, or can change their skin into all different solid colors, the mutant that can never get a sunburn, or the mutant who has an ultra acute senses (almost like Daredevil only no agility and he can see things far away with telescopic vision). I always wanted to make a comic of a group called the "Misfits". Each individually had no great value as a hero, but as a team they could actually accomplish goals and be "heros".

kinda like the Mystery Men?

But I know what you are saying...the mutants they always talk about have AWESOME powers that can be used in a battle...(Rogue's is a little different though...and I like it because of that reason)

Well kinda, but Mystery Men were more extreme, I don't think they really even had powers, I think they just hoped they did.

But Mr. Furious has got to take the cake. Big Time Hulk wannabe.

The Tick pushes it a bit too, although Tick is super strong, and the others do have some skills.

You gotta love those losers! Have you guys seen The Specials? Kinda like Mistery Men, only they do have powers but they don't get along. It's like the Avengers on Jerry Springer. Pretty funny movie.

And I loved the Tick cartoon and tv show, too bad it only got one season... :( Patrick Warburton was born to be the Blue Avenger!

I liked it because there is a Spongebob Humor to it. It appears a kids cartoon but a lot of the jokes are adult logic as well (deeper meanings). Spongebob pulls it off better IMHO, but Freakazoid also takes shots at Heros in general like the Tick does (Freakazoids runs around like he's flying with his hands held out). I think you would enjoy it, and read my PM.

You know I like it, I practically named you that.

HOLD THE PRESSES!!!!! You don't know your namesake?????

Spidey, you actually LIKE Spongebob? I've tried watching that a couple of times and I just can't, just like Rocco's Modern Life...

But you'll like it, Freak. Stuff like the Narrator, Freak always holding his missions to go to weird places with Cosgrove, the in-between skits like the "French Class" (Who cut the cheese?)... I hope they release it on DVD someday!!!

Oh MK, maybe translation is an Issue, Spongebob has a very smart wit to it. There are hints of things like Predator and other movies in it. Just the fact that SpongeBob is drawn the way a kid percieves a Sponge is intentional. There is a smartness to Spongebob I find extremly funny. You have to see the hidden meaning of the cartoon to really get it. MTV even played it for a while because of it's adult humor inclinations, but most Parents watch a few minutes and don't give it the time of day. I hope you watch a few more, it is a very good artoon, nothing like a typical Nick toon. The one episode were Squidward makes really bad jokes and laughs at himself is very funny, and I doubt kids get it. He's got a Conan O'Brian sorta humor to him. (If you know who that is)
