Speaking of rehabs -- what attraction ties the park together most for you?

With all the recent talk about the various rehabs around WDW this fall, I wanted to pose a slightly open-for-interpretation question.

For you personally, what attraction would most affect the enjoyment or "feel" of a particular park were it to be closed on your visit? I'm not necessarily asking what your FAVORITE attraction is, simply what would really create a hole or a void in a park's atmosphere or flow for you were it to be shuttered temporarily.

This very well might be the same as your favorite attraction, or it could be something so seemingly minor no one would think of it - it's all a feel thing. Imagine walking up to the gates, hearing the entrance music (what a great moment that always is!) and knowing one particular entity won't be operational. What affects the park for you the most?

This is a good question.

Animal Kingdom- Expedition Everest, the safari ride & the Lion King Show.

Epcot- SE it will be closed while we are there. Test track & Sorin. Plus Mouse Gear store.

Hollywood Studios- Rockn Roller coaster, closed too while we are there, and also ToT.

Magic Kingdom. If the castle disappeared I would be crushed but other than that there is so much there that if one thing was closed it would still be ok.

I am really going to miss Haunted Mansion on my trip next week. I haven't been to WDW since 2004 (but had six trips between 2000 - 2004) and my daughters had decided that they were finally going to keep their eyes open for the entire ride on this trip. So, not having HM this trip will be slightly disappointing.

In today's WDW, I've not been when anything was closed in 2 years except for PotC in June of '06... but I suppose any classic like PotC or HM... then SSE, then RnRC, then KS... and I MUST see all the fireworks show at least once per trip and at least one day parade, and then whichever light parade is on at night...

But I do miss, or did miss the first stuff I mentioned.
