This debate could last for nearly as long as the "when is Mission:Space going to open"
Personally, I think that there are more interesting countries than Spain which could be included in W.S.
Secondly, I think that Spain needs to rid itself of the bull fighting cruelty before Disney entertains them.

I think you just gave away the plot for the new Indoor Ride Experience for Spain Pavillion. :fork:

Aside from that, we can't change other cultures to suit our idea of what the world should be like.

I agree though...no offense to the spanish...but...I would've rather had seen a South American country go in...I mean...they are part of this world :)

well... lets see.

All of sub-saharan african is basically covered at DAK (I challenge ANYONE to contest that!), as is most of Southeast Asia (somehow, I don't think the Phillipine goverment would be willing to sponsor a pavillion... same for Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam). Let me think.. what else.. I'd like in India pavilion.. that'd be cool, but not gonna happen.. so I'll settle for Spain

Exactly, you got it right. As far as I know, Brazil was offered one of the original pavillions and refused just because of that.

I dunno, I just think Brazil would be really neat (although, it would be tough to fit a rainforest in  )

You know, after the place we had at the Millenium Village, the thought of having a whole pavillion scares the BEJEEZUS outta me... :hurl:

I DON'T CARE WHAT PAVILLION THEY PUT IN AS LONG AS THEY PUT IN SOMETHING NEW!!!!!!!!!!! JUST PUT IN NEW THINGS BECAUSE EPCOT IS MY LEAST FAVORITE PARK. TAKE OUT WONDERS OF LIFE (HATED IT SINCE IT WAS PUT IN) PUT IN ANOTHER NICE RIDE THAT EVERYONE CAN GO ON. THAT BODY WARS RIDE IS HORRIBLE! ADD SOME COUNTRIES AND SPRUCE IT UP!!!!! THAT PARK NEEDS MAJOR HELP!

I get what you're saying; why ya gotta holler?
On that note; EPCOT really needs some new pavillions and Spain would be a nice addition.

Spain would be a good addition, but I think there are far more interesting choices. Greece would be incredible. Wouldnt you like to see a mockup of ancient Greece? Or perhaps Egypt, Russia, even Brazil. India would really be neat too, but I do not see that happening as long as India is at virtual war with Pakistan.

As far as bullfighting in Spain. Yes, its cruel, but I do not think it is our place to be telling other countries how they should and should not handle internal cultural matters, especially when it involves no human rights violations. Live and let live.

Well, the myths and legends of Greece could merit their OWN park...(and I have a feeling that if they started a Greece pavilion, it would get "Great Movie Ride'd") (but yes, something having to do with Ancient Greece would be very cool, but I don't know if Greece would be for putting money into a pavilion that doesn't deal with the "current" country to lure people to the actual country.

Egypt would be INCREDIBLE but is there enough room for another pyramid and sphinx? (I'm ALL FOR THIS ONE!!!)

Like you said, India is a no-go...(DAK has a lot of "Indian" traits to it)

Brazil would be really cool but that might fit better in DAK also...

Switzerland would be cool too.

I believe that Chile would be pretty interesting too.

You see what I mean? That stupid Millenium Village pavillion threw you guys off! I may be way off on this one, but I think only a third or less of Brazil is covered by that rain forest. It goes around to other countries as well. We have one large state and a couple of small ones actually IN it, that's all! The rest is pretty much like any other country, with hills and plains and cities and fields and buildings and cars...

(I know you didn't mean we're a bunch of Tarzans down here, Freak, but I just KNOW a lot of people have just that image because of that dumba$$ pavillion!)

*steps down from soap box*
