Why is the whole SSE-RollerCoaster thing being brought up again? Is there some proof of this or is it just someone on the boards saying this? Seems like the last few summers this pops up and then fades away....

Also why do people keep saying this would be a rollercoaster when I thought "time racers" or whatever it was called was the post show not a full redo of SSE into a coaster.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo... not the coaster rumor again.

SE is still being looked at for some kind of change. Although concepts were thrown around and modelled to have the track enter and exit the sphere during ride portions, these very expensive ideas were shelved.

I haven't heard to what degree the coming changes could bring. I'm hoping for a finale change and update of the existing scenes. . . but it could be more.

They shouldn't put a coaster in SE because it would have to be tame because of the sphere's support structure, and just use a lot of special effect for a thrilling ride Space Mountain duh???. but the point is EPCOT is becoming TMK with Soarin' Mission Space, Test Track, Brother Bear Falls (Canada ride?????) the learn while having fun is going to the crapper. Time Racers is a great way to learn while having fun they could use a simulator and project a movie on half of the sphere

I'd be fine with a new thread if there was something new to discuss. The post that bumped this thread really didn't need to be made. It just confused people.

I swear, I was not the one who bumped this up. :lookaroun

SSE will always be a special ride for my family. It was our first Disney Experience together and my kids liked it so much, we rode it 3 more times over the length of our stay. I think there may some updating required, but all in all, a good time.
