Here is one from the launch last December. The picture was taken from the hub looking towards Space Mountain.

That's why it's best to stay in the World rather than trying to drive to the Cape. Spend a lot of time on the road, and can't get close anyway. Tough to arrange except for locals.

You figure with decades upon decades of launches of rockets that have liquid fuel, they'd be able to design an ECO (engine cut off) sensor that actually won't fail under real work conditions. Seems like very launch..... :grr:

Oh, this would be a dream come true if it worked out!!

we'll be on 95 on Saturday headed for Disney...... will now shoot to make it to Daytona Beach in time for hopefully a shuttle detour... don't think we'll be able to make it closer than that timewise. would love to see it in Titusville.. but we'll talk what we can get. LOL

We won't have internet or anything.. is there a radio station that gives updates if it gets scratched and time changes???

Thanks a bunch!

Can you see it from Ft Lauderdale?

We're going to be in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Does anyone know if it's possible to see it from that far away? I realize it would probably just look like a tiny dot at most, but would still be cool if it's possible to see it.
