For me, I love how rough it is! The “nostalgia” might be part of it, but the roughness makes it feel like such a good coaster in my opinion. Smooth coasters that are fast, like Velocicoaster, are great, but where Space Mountain lacks in speed it makes up for it in sharp turns, drops, and overall roughness.Nostalgia is the only reason people still like it.

Disneyland's Space Mountain > TRON > WDW's Space Mountain
I voted Space Mountain for length alone.
Yeah, I'm pretty unimpressed with Tron. It's fine but it's not particularly thrilling, just fast, which RnRC does better. And it's so short. The bikes are a neat idea but not particularly comfortable having to crane your neck. I can say it's not as rough as SM, so it's got that going for it... for now.I voted Space Mountain for length alone. Tron was so underwhelming IMO.
Yes, but which ride is better? Tron or Space Mountain (WDW)?I mean, both Tron and Guardians are basically modern versions of Space Mountain. It's been superseded.
I happen to like MK/DL Space Mountain aesthetic. A lot. I do think the spires should be gold or platinum. Not a fan of Tokyo's concept art, though I'm sure the coaster will be nice.Space Mountain is definitely a classic, but MK’s version is just kinda meh compared to the other Space Mountains around the world. For it to get close to becoming on par with Tron, it needs to get a re-track and an overall upgrade.

I pull up the concept art for Tokyo Disney’s Space Mountain overhaul, to show what the new MK Space Mountain could look like.
I don’t necessarily want the facade of Space Mountain to look like Tokyo’s concept, but I definitely think Space Mountain at MK should receive a re-track to make it less bumpy and more smooth. You could keep the astetic of Space Mountain, but maybe some new effects and a re-trackI happen to like MK/DL Space Mountain aesthetic. A lot. I do think the spires should be gold or platinum.
