Space Mountain Tv

Ah, yes. Whilst I love the current queue music being everywhere in the line, the old loop was entertaining, genuinely funny, and very Disney-ish. It certainly added some semblance of the New Tomorrowland theme into Space Mountain. Now it's just a decaying building with no major relation to anything around it. Hopefully New Tomorrowland is integrated more fully in SM 2.0. ;)

Everything tied together in old tommorowland and this is a perfect example. You felt like you were actually somewhere else. Something tommorowland now a days is lacking.

Damn, I miss those things. WHy did they take em out? Probably because of Fed ex leaving, but I remember my first trip through Space close to 10 yrs ago this march. I was so nervous, but it wound up being my fav. roller coaster ever. Dang, all of those memories.

If they mess up SM for this refurb, they fo sho lost a customer.

I always loved going through the Space Mountain Queue, with its wonderful music. The TV Show was awesome when I was a kid, and boy... I sure miss it  Thanks man for the videos.

sounds like I am in the minority, but I hated Space Mountain TV. It was dumb and cheesy and not to mention you heard the same thing 2 million times before getting on the ride. I prefer the queue music they have now.

Theres queue music? Since when?

I know they added the disneyland onride music to the exit area but when I went last year I dont remember hearing any queue music.

I miss SM TV it helped make New Tomorrowland coherent in its story (XS tech ads, 1950s sci-fi feel, etc.) plus it gave you something to look at during the excruciating wait time.

Thanks for this...brings back some memories. I remember being really young and watching the meteor hit earth in the "weather report" and I would freak out...haha. I watched it again and just laughed.

The black news anchor in the first clip.......is that by any chance a young John Saunders of ABC Sports' college football studio team?

Sure looks like him.......any hardcore college football fans out there?

ummm, i really think im in the minority here, but i dont recall those videos. Where were they in the queue. i dont even remember tv's being in the queue. just those classic visuals on the walls that are of space subjects and the few that are of the trains going in circles.

They are from the 1993+ FedEx era - the TV monitors were on poles in the main show building holding area.
