Space Mountain Queue under Railroad?

I was wondering if someone was going to mention that. It really does sound like there is a train going over your head. It's weird and a little bit scary at the same time.

yep. I've actually heard a lot of people who think it is the coaster cars (thinking they are going REALLY fast to make that much noise).

Interesting, I'm having a bit of trouble visualizing the POTC layout though. Do you know of any maps that could help?

Here's a VERY crude approximate layout of the Pirates show buildings. I know I don't quite have the positioning of the load and cave scenes correct in proportion to the amount of space they take up (there's a lot of queue in that building, too. I suspect that the ride portion is entirely to the left of that dividing conduit thingy on the roof) but you get the general idea.

(The gray line is the section where the boats climb back up to the load level and around a curve to the loading platform)

Ohhh. I thought that was the ride making those noises!

It may be the ride, if you are farther down the line its actually the lifts you are hearing.

Noises in the long, straight hallway that dips down, levels out and then climbs back up would be the train.
You can hear rockets clanking at the bottom of the Omega lift-hill (as well as the noises frmo the end of the blue tunnel and the safety recording) at the very beginning of the zig-zag hallway.
