So, I wonder what "Lee Hisownself" has found out? The suspense! :lookaroun

About Space Mountain?
:snore:

Nothing doing over there the last two days.
Only thing I have dug up is than no track has gone in or out yet. Woo-hoo.

Got three rides on SSE with night vision Saturday, but it'll be Wednesday before I can watch it properly.

In other news....rain.

Thats "getting back at it" ?

What were they doing before getting back at it - getting facials ?

It looks like Disney arranged for a refurb and almost nobody showed up.

Hmmm, I wonder if they have discovered some structual issues  and work has been halted.

Kinda like Disneyland SM :lookaroun

Uh oh. :veryconfu

If that would be true, I'd be tempted to say, "Oh boy!" I honestly wouldn't mind seeing this thing go under for two years if it meant a brand new track and completely redone attraction. As it is, sounds like they are doing just enough to make SM exciting again, but I'd rather wait an extra year or two and have a SM thats THRILLING, not just exciting.

exactly. I'm not buying that there isnt going to be a new track though the current one is waayyy too old to just get a patchwork upgrade and be good to go and I thought John Lasser himself personally got a look at space mountain before the rehab? I just can't see him looking at the track going "yea the tracks fine just do the bare minimum"

:wave:I hope they get rid of the t-bars in the seats. Those are uncomfortable. :lookaroun

Yes, but they allow for more leg space than the old U-shape bars. The only other option would be to bring back the seatbelts of the original trains, but I don't see that happening.
