It was ok....
It could have been better.
Was it better before the refurb?:wave:

In my opinion, YES. Irons/94 version was pure poetry. But you are talking to to the guy that got misty eyed from the 180 Top Down.:o It was moving, inspirational and pure EPCOT.

The new version does not do what 1994's did to me, although I will admit that the new 180 Top is very inspirational and gives me goose-bumps. Same with the ascent. Very good music, OK narration, but the sets being practically new take the cake.

The version before 1994's, the 1986 Version with Walter Cronkite was also fantastic. It had a very emotional score for the 180-Top and is renowned for the song Tomorrow's Child. This was much more of the text book version of the ride. 94 was more of a drama, if that makes any sense.

The 1982 version, by Perrin/Dobkins was much akin to 86, with a very dry narration, and no score.

drove by SM twice today... gate is shut, locked and it's quiet.... definately looks like a work stopage for the holiday weekend..

Meanwhile, raining like all heck right now.... got stuck at studios under cover for about 30 minutes.... REALLY bad thunder and lightning......felt like I was 'riding' twister at universal :)

Oh really?

Then I'll be more than happy to take Watchmen and Tokyo Disneysea's rides back then.

(Seriously, the day ONE of you reads/watches/buys ALL of something I recommend and does not enjoy it in the least, I will get you into the Fastpass line of any ride of your choice at the parks.)
