So I picked up A LOT of shifts at MK. Some this week and tons next week. Now I usually drive to work coming into MK from the north, but if you guys want me to, I could come in from the south if I give myself a little bit more time and try to give you guys daily pics of the Berm Doors of SM. Would people be interested in this or would this be a waste of time?

I drove by today and saw some metal scaffolding stacked on the ground, probably for construction, and the dumpster, but I couldn't see anything out of it. The berm doors and the fence surrounding SM were closed.

Well...DUH...of course we would be interested! :brick:

Question of the day:
How come Six Flags can build a wooden coaster, themed to Terminator, with onboard audio...and Disney can't scrape up the change to put audio into SM?
Just tossing that out there. Can't get my head around it....

Because, according to the head of Six Flags, they are more well positioned than Disney is. Or, cause they aren't the penny-pinching executives that Disney's Orlanod team is.

Onboard Audio on a wooden coaster? Yeah, no excuse Disney.

Isn't there a bit of a difference between designing a coaster to include audio from inception as opposed to adding it to an existing 35yo coaster?

Not much. All you have to do is plan accordingly, either from the point of initial design/construction or from the planning for the refurb.
Where there is a will, there is a way.

Awesome, would love to see them, just be careful of the whole no photos taken from backstage thing.

Everyone is adding audio to their coasters now eh? oh well.. Disney needs to step up their game... When the Yeti is repaired, make sure he actually tears guests arms off.... that'll add another level of excitement :)

Nice Lee. Put things into a perspective that makes SF look like they are schooling Disney. Wait... maybe they are. How depressing.

I have watched that Terminator being built with photo updates. Looks like quite an impressive woody. :lookaroun

Terminator looks great, I'm hoping it sticks to it's memorial day opening.

Anyone know what is going to go on with the post-show?
Are we thinking a total demolition of the old post show for 100% new replacements?
Or just a dusting of what we already have?
I'm crossing my fingers for them to get rid of the dated TVs.
