Seeing that we are on a budget for this refurb...:lol:...The tunnels would the the easier areas to plus.

I know! Reflectors aren't expensive at all.Just buy 200 reflectors from ace hardware and buy a new tunnel and some brighter stars and a new track and a lighting package and some new rockets(side by side?single?) and some paint and a duster and some windex and we will be good to go :lookaroun

I'll take single seating with a side order of new track please.
What's the windex for?

You can see them better in my video. :D
I am the annoying voice in the background that is excitedly freaking out.

A year after this video I got to ride the ride with the lights on because I was at a summer camp and I am so glad that that poor structure is getting some TLC.

Your lucky you got to see it with the lights on from TTA.I got stuck on space mountain once and the Evac was nasty.Mold was all over the tracks.I've gotten stuck on Disneyland's several times and its pretty cool when they push the rocket! Cool vid, 5 stars, favorited, subscribed!

Woot! Thanks. I bring my video camera and digital everywhere I go in WDW. I'm going November 4th so expect some after that!

Mold was all over the tracks?! Eww. I'm allergic to mold. I've seen a video of them pushing the rockets on youtube, it looks fun.

How does Disneyland's work? I also thought we were in a tube with lights projected on it.

With the lights on, It looks like this.If you look at them closely, you see a little light next to them and when you pull into the tunnel, the rocket triggers sound, light, and a camera.:D
That's my guess. With the lights on, It looks like a very cheap effect but in the dark, It looks expensive.:)

Um, this is the 1st tunnel....

Here we go.Watch this video and you will see how cheap the effect looks in action

Here's the re-entry tunnel in the dark in my video

:brick:Slipped my mind from the re-entry to the entry. Sorry about that.

And interesting ending. More slick than ours, prefurb.

Always the chance for new effects.
True. Imagine a more spacey, dizzying effect?

And there`s me thinking the DL re entry looked good. Kind of reverse speed LED.

Beats a spinning red cylinder anyway. State of the art circa 1975.
