Unfortunately, the Print on Demand posters tend to look washed out when it comes to color. I have several I bought at once, and they look drab and kind of crappy next to the real thing. Also, if you order 24 x 36, the actual print is not 24 x 36, the paper is...another bummer...especially considering what you're paying. Ugh.

I called yesterday and was patched through to Disneyland Paris. I was trying to get information on the Casey's Corner Poster since it shows that at the bottom of the poster. Unfortunately I could not find someone who spoke English.

That Space poster I posted is really cool looking. I have never seen one for sale so I would snatch it up in a heartbeat if I found one.:)

buy it buy it buy it buy it, you could add it to your epcot room!!!!! :lookaroun
I've been thinking about it. And the room is rapidly becoming more than just EPCOT. EPCOT dominates it, but I have a pretty large TDS and MK section now.
Well, it's better to have something similar than none at all....

And here's TDL poster art for SM:

It's nice...I hope we get the logo.

Have you guys ever seen this one?

It would be great if Disney would hire Maletic to do more posters, or even just buy the rights to the ones he did for fun (this, Tomorrowland, Swan Boats and If You Had Wings).

I agree. Disney's current trend towards more photoreal attraction posters have really taken a lot of the cool style away from them. In my mind nothing will ever beat those stylized posters from the 50s and 60s like the Flying Saucers, Haunted Mansion, or the Monorail.

I have Jungle Cruise and Pirates from an online dealer who I believe purchased them through print on demand and made copies on a paper stock that wasn't as good. Then I bought Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion and the paper stock was much better. With a nice frame and matting you really can't tell the difference in quality but without the frame the print on demand ones look much better. Either way I'm very satisfied with both.

Something I noticed while driving around SM the other day....may have already been mentioned, but.......that black stripe ain't plastic or a tarp.
It's paint or tar or something like that.
Looks kinda bad....

I figured that. I can't imagine why Disney would want to add black paint onto a white building. I am pretty sure they aren't going to repaint the mountain black.

I'm praying that they don't turn it black :hurl:

Actually the posters for both Midway Mania and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage were done in the classic 60s style. You can thank Lasseter & friends for that!
