Space Mountain Heading to the Scrap Heap :)

One critic called it boring and loud, likening it to watching paint dry while being hit in the head repeatedly by a frying pan. I wholeheartedly agree, not to mention that 2 1/2 hours is absurdly long for a film where not much happens beyond explosions and product placement.

Worded perfectly.

Only thing they did right in that movie...Review it correctly!:zipit:

They said that about the first movie and that turned out to be a solid film (certainly superior to anything Spielberg and Lucas have made in awhile)

Haven't seen the sequel yet, heard alot of negative things, but since im ignoring the reviews i'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

For the guy who said Cloverfield sucked, I'm not sure what you were expecting, the trailers made it very clear what type of movie it would be (Blair Witch Project style monster film) and thats exactly what we got. It was no Jurassic Park or Alien or anythign like that but it certainly did its job as a fun monster movie. I love the fact they didn't spoil what the monster was you had to actually SEE the film to find out.

The last IJ and SW movies were much better than Transformers 2. It's filled with so many movie cliches (in a bad way) you want to :hurl:, not to mention what everyone else has said. Even Ms. Fox's "gifts" can't help out matters. It's a shame that the movie, which had a lot of potential, was squandered. All that said, the way I felt about it I haven't felt about any other movie. My feelings overall fell between ambivalent and light hatred/disgust.

...Anyway, how about SM's refurb?...Everything still spiffy?

I was expecting it to not be great.

Oh, it did so much better than that.

Like be an example of how to make films without style, or substance while pretending to be something cool & relevant, which it is the complete opposite of.

I will only forgive him for the egregious nonsense of it, because of Star Trek. All he needed was that creative energy focused in the right direction.

And no...I don't know nuthin' about no Space Mountains.

Transformers 2 was terrible but I'd watch it any day over any of the prequels. Not Indy 4, though.

You know as someone that's a huge transformers fan for many a year I have to say that I was disappointed in this one. Not so much disappointment in in the fact that it was too long or anything but in the fact that the first one was geared towards adults and kids both and while having some adult themes it was still ok for a 11 or 12 year old kid to watch and not be too bad. This one was just over the top it was totally geared to adults and I saw parents with little kids in the theater get up and have to walk their kids out because of the sexual refferences and the language in it. The movie could have been so much better without all of that and without his crappy college trip and without the 3 hours worth of is he going to get to optimus and save him already or not.

I wish they would have focused on more of the character development like the first one and not on his stupid IM going to college WAIT no im not and my moms a pothead now. stuff, also would have been nice to see more then 4 second of JOLT on the screen. :sohappy::sohappy:
