According to @marni1971 it's still on the chopping block, but they keep throwing out proposed replacement plans.

Perhaps when the pressure-washed the slight-beige part, and sans the dirt, it went back to white? I once acquired a car that I had to do something similar to.

With the new colored lighting, a clean all-white look is the way to go.

Especially if they can keep it white. Futuristic worlds in artist concepts and movies look great in bright whites. The reality is the concrete turns grey and most surfaces have a layer of greying, beigeing dirt.

The scaffolding has moved to the smaller spires now, and the pressure washing is moving along. It's gonna shine bright when the washing is done.

Beautiful! It cleans up very nicely, unlike Disneyland's poor dome which hasn't looked good since 2005 when it was painted.

Looks great, wonder why this isn't on a painting schedule more often? Anything white should be painted more frequently.

Really? That's good to know. I've only ever seen it glow white at night though, the other SMs around the World change color frequently and do little light shows, does this happen now?

It does look great, even better in person. I just wish they would do something different with that light blue, maybe a darker shade or something else that is a little more bold.

I was thinking the same thing. Light/baby blue worked maybe in the 1970s. A dark midnight blue replacement, I think, would make it look really sharp.
