Dark Blue please. Like the new colors above the Camera Shop and Gateway Gifts at Epcot. That ice/baby blue is yuck! I agree with Lee.

I won't mind the fastpass location as much, if they repaint it white with blue and silver accents, same thing with the 1994 pylon sign....to make it look something like the old 1975 RCA sign.

Thread Drift and good discussion:

Does anyone think Space Mountain will get some "Space Station 75" references in signage etc must like DL's has SS75?

I doubt it. This isn't a complete redo, meaning the basic structure of the classic attraction will still be there. Had this been a complete overhaul (new track layout, completely redesigned rockets, etc), I think you might have seen something, but since this is more maintanance than refurb, I wouldn't expect anything like that.

I sure hope repaint the actual mountain white before it opens back up again. Maybe I'm just seeing things, but to me, it looks like the bottom portion (majority) of the mountain has an off-white primer that has been on there for years. The top portion of the mountain is actually white, but the rest looks like they started a repainting project and never finished it.

I just got bacl from the world last night, and from what i saw of SM, the fast pass machines were covered in clear plastic as to protect them. As far as the painting of the arcade, it may be done because window cleaners were there making them nice and clean. And yes it is true, the trains are running. It looks as if they either have put new track in or painted some of it because it was shiny white, which the photos here and the ones i took do not show because of the lighting inside. As for anything else, you cant see it! not the entrance line nor the ending, so it would all be speculation at this point, but they were working at the entrance and the doors were open. I believe it will open on time if the trains are running sporadicly, but who knows with the theme improvements. Was still great to at least be able to be inside of it, just have to wait and see.:sohappy:

Yes, two tone mountain is not only bad show, it's icky.

If anything is done visually to the Mountain, I hope it is this.
