Space Mountain: Embarassing or Appreciated

With all due respect, for about 65% of the country, there is nothing Disney will do that will add menace to a coaster.

Not menace maybe, but slapping the Paris treatment on it would help. Launch it, visibly, and add 3 or 4 inversions, projections, effects.....won't happen, of course.......
That won't give pause to coaster freaks (yes, like me) but it might make the average family from Pleasantville go "Oooohhh...Space Mountain....not sure I want to get on that."

There was do much misery and trouble to get it done...
Speed troubles... Music troubles... Sync problems... Staffing problems... stubborn CMs... etc. etc...

Do you have any idea what Jetlag does to a guy???
3 times up and down in one month???

You could have stopped over here and said hi on the way over :D
For what it`s worth; it was worth it. Mission One was superb.

Intercontinental??

3 times Los Angeles - Paris?? flight time 13 hrs???

Good for the Frequent Flyer miles, true...

Ok you got me on that one Corrus. It was from Florida to Montana to Florida to Montana...You get the picture. Still alot of air time. I hope to be doing long flights like that when I finally get my Degree in Architecture and Can find a job doing ride theming and design.

One answer would be to get a new corporate sponser. RCA was a good first, and the Fed-Ex angle even made sense. Who else would be a good sponser? Let's think outside the box!

How about the new FedEx-Kinko's? We'd have a fickle, online trackable service merged with a bunch of inkjet copiers with reams of paper available in the gift shop. And for 3 extra dollars, you could buy the special hidden mickey- edition paper.

Wow. I think turkey makes me full of tangents. :hammer:

Let's see, for me I still enjoy SM very much. I would just give it new track pieces but not change the layouts for both sides. Spruce up the queue line but don't change the music, the music is just fine and gives a great atmosphere.

While I know some people want it like the Paris version, there's no way it's gonna happen and if they did they would use the weaker version. (Mission Two) While Mission Two does have great effect's it just lacks nostalgia and the music is so much weaker then Mission One's.
