I agree. I think they would be missing a great opportunity if they didn't. Even the early Mickey satellite from the Disney Channel.

The gravity from Spaceship Earth is to blame. 1 second on Spaceship Earth's event horizon is one hour of construction near Test Track. In fact, the restaurant is already built, we just can't see it yet.

It has been said that it will open later this year.
I think it's going exceptionally fast by Disney standards.

According to the first post of this thread, it was announced in July of 2017. So it will be almost 2 1/2 years, start to finish. That’s a long time to build a restaurant
Our next trip is January 2020 so we are really hoping it’s open by then!

With Test Track being so close to the restaurant, do you think they will put any type of theming on the outside of the building there when you zoom by? I've always thought they should put a little more effort into sprucing up what you see from the outdoor section of Test Track.

Doubt it, the rest of the backside of Test Track looks pretty bad anyway.

Maybe they could let the diners decide on which space could be shown... majority rules!
