Spa Prices
I was planning a spa treatment for my girlfriend for our upcoming visit, and I called the Grand Floridian Spa for more information - and they faxed (and I think they said they could e-mail also) a 5 page "menu" of options/prices. I'm not sure, but I assume the Spa at Disney Institute would have the same type of list available, as well.

You can call the resort spa directly, of course, I don't know the number off hand. I used the spa there a few times. I love it! If I remember it was like 60 dollars for 20 mins of massage? but you can use the hot tub and stuff all day.

Your Spa & Health Club Experience
Experience self-renewal. Let all of your senses come alive, as your body is healthfully pampered and your spirit beautifully stimulated in our caring and serene environment.
What can you expect at The Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club? You will be welcomed by our friendly Spa Cast Members and led to the women’s or men’s locker room where you will receive a locker with a Spa robe and slippers to wear during your visit.
If you plan to enjoy a workout in the Health Club, please bring tennis shoes and comfortable workout clothing. Bathing suits are optional for the steam room, sauna and indoor whirlpool but are not provided.
We cannot guarantee requests for male or female therapists. However, we will make every attempt to honor your preference.
Upon entering your private treatment room, the therapist will leave the room so you may disrobe. Undergarments are not necessary, and please keep in mind that our therapists are trained to warmly drape you with a large towel at all times. For most body services, we recommend you undress completely. You may wish to wear a bathing suit for hydrotherapy services.
Please do not bring valuables to The Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club.
It is recommended that Spa appointments be made as far in advance as possible. To ensure your preferred appointment time, we recommend you schedule your next visit at the conclusion of your treatment. We welcome Group and Conventions. Age Requirements
Guests 10 years and older are welcome. An adult must accompany guests under 17 when receiving a massage treatment, water treatment and/or a body treatment. Childcare arrangements may be made with Guest Services.
Check-In Policy
Please check-in with the Spa receptionist at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We encourage you to use the whirlpool, sauna and steam areas to relax and prepare for your treatment. We recommend showering prior to your appointment to receive full-treatment benefit. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments.
Personal Articles
We provide safety deposit boxes and lockers for your convenience. We will not assume responsibility for valuables.
Cancellation Policy
Guests not canceling appointments two hours in advance will be charged for the full treatment. Packages not cancelled twenty-four hours in advance will be charged full price.

What can you expect at The Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club? You will be welcomed by our friendly Spa Cast Members and led to the women’s or men’s locker room where you will receive a locker with a Spa robe and slippers to wear during your visit.
If you plan to enjoy a workout in the Health Club, please bring tennis shoes and comfortable workout clothing. Bathing suits are optional for the steam room, sauna and indoor whirlpool but are not provided.
We cannot guarantee requests for male or female therapists. However, we will make every attempt to honor your preference.
Upon entering your private treatment room, the therapist will leave the room so you may disrobe. Undergarments are not necessary, and please keep in mind that our therapists are trained to warmly drape you with a large towel at all times. For most body services, we recommend you undress completely. You may wish to wear a bathing suit for hydrotherapy services.

It is recommended that Spa appointments be made as far in advance as possible. Age Requirements
Guests 10 years and older are welcome. An adult must accompany guests under 17 when receiving a massage treatment, water treatment and/or a body treatment. Childcare arrangements may be made with Guest Services.
Check-In Policy
Please check-in with the Spa receptionist at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We encourage you to use the whirlpool, sauna and steam areas to relax and prepare for your treatment. We recommend showering prior to your appointment to receive full-treatment benefit. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments.
Personal Articles
We provide safety deposit boxes and lockers for your convenience. We will not assume responsibility for valuables.
Cancellation Policy
Guests not canceling appointments two hours in advance will be charged for the full treatment. Packages not cancelled twenty-four hours in advance will be charged full price.

I can answer you Miss Belle. If I remember correctly, I had a 60 minute massage, an almond scrub and a facial in Brooklyn for about $250, excluding tips. The recommended tipping is $15-$20 for a massage and $10-$15 for a facial. The scrub part is usually done by the masseuse. That's in New York remember. When I went to Sandals Antigua. I had a 30 minute massage and a body wrap and facial and it was a special. The price - $150, and no tipping if you didn't want to.
Hope this helps - especially as far as the recommended tipping for services goes.

I might indulge myself one day if I can ever convince myself to slow down and relax at Disney long enough to do it!!!! I like the aromatherapy massage thingy. That looks nice. Has anyone had any of these treatments done at Disney in either spa?? What was your opinion? Had you ever had them before? How does Disney spas compare to others you have been to?? Belle

I just got a 50 min message at the spa at SSR. It was $88 with the DVC discount (I think 115 before it.) and I tiped to make it an even $100. It was very nice.
It was a bit pricer then places around my house (at my lifetime gym it is around $60 for 50 min.) But not really over priced. It was very nice, a great spa expernce. Very relaxing. I really kind of want a facial, but I was scared of doing that during vacation. Not sure of what one to get either.
