I was too busy shopping for our trip (Saturday Uni/DCL/WDW) got home when Butters got taken by the the 9.

Oh that will never happen :lol: The Table of 9 was my favorite. Popeye? Amazing. And Candyland, Wario, Link... I could go on.
And yes, he was a lot like the Mayor of Munchkinland, but he was also a bit like Dreamfinder. It's very South Park to make a mixture of different things, as these episodes show.

So I heard that Matt & Trey are Epcot fans and were actually present at the 25th.

I still say that its obvious the character intentionally had some similarities to Dreamfinder.

I do think that the character has some Dreamfinder similarities. I do agree that he does look like the Mayor of Munchkinland. Like others have said, he's probably a combo of both characters.

My brother was over tonight and I asked him about the character in question. He likes Disney but hasn't been there in a long time and is not as addicted as I.. or most others here are. Anyway as soon as I asked him about the character his immediate response was " that was Dreamfinder with his flying Blimp and the song from the old JII ride". Just the fact that he remembered the correct names was impressive enough to me.

I for one think humble pie is all right but when you throw that crow topping on it - well then it's just plain awful...

I don't think you were totally off. He was clearly a mixture of people.

In the second episode he was more like the mayor of munchkinland, like you pointed out, the shoes, the fact that they called him "mayor", not to mention his "just click your heals together" comment.

But if he was going to be only the Mayor, he would have had them walk down a brike road and sing the lollypop guild or something. No, the blimp, the Immmaggginnnaatiooon song... he was dreamfinder in the first one.

BTW I think my favoriate part of part II was when they had to figure out how to sing the song just right. Hilarious!

Well a few days ago I *would* have argued that no one else was a mix of different characters in the episodes, therefore I was most assuredly right... Guess I'm glad I kept some of my brilliant logic to myself... :D

Anyway for once I agree with someone on this thread - Stan and Kyle trying to remember the "Imaginaaaaatiooooonnnnn" song was one of the funniest parts! :lol:

Corrected the list. Just watched Disney's The Black Hole on TCM last night and the character seen in South Park is V.I.N.CENT, not B.O.B.

Does anyone remember "Cartmanland", the episode where Cartman buys his own theme park and doesn't allow anyone to come in except for himself because he hates lines? Does anyone find it funny that one of the rides in the park is called the Yeti and clearly looks exactly like Expedition Everest except it's a flume ride? The episode aired in 2001, five years before E:E opened. :lol::lol:
