Okay, so we're set for 1:00 tomorrow? Did Chuck ever say if he could make it?

A pages back he said "works better for him." He hasn't posted since then.

1 pm it is!

Update on our Luncheon:
We had a nice time getting together, watching planes go by, discussing hospital stories, waiting and waiting and waiting for our food, etc. Tom and Gary ordered the same food again. (werid!) :hammer: I broke out and ordered something different.

I ran around doing wedding stuff after that meeting until 9pm. I'm EXHAUSTED! BUT.........I think I'm going with a Cinderella type mini-theme. (Cinderella & Prince charming-wedding- place cards, printed on all our napkins, our favors, and our cake topper.) I"m not telling Aaron since he wouldn't like it. He'll never know otherwise. :) He's never seen cinderella!!!!

hee hee hee!

Had fun! Hopefully more can join us next time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Tom got the barbecue dipping sauce, but I got the honey mustard. Hardly the same.:p

Great to see you both again! :) Yes, we definitely should try and pull others in.

The best part? Knowing each other enough now to talk about things other than our original tie in, Disney.

I told Linda that we hardly even talked about Disney. . . but I don't think she believed me.

I think it was actually Bonnie who said it.

You will NEVER hear a curse word out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fork:

Curse word? "**** that a**h***" = "comb that armhair" I interpreted it as a comment on my grooming. Don't know what sort of curse word you thought it was. You must have a very filthy mind.:p

The resturant that I posted about above is doing another Disney Day. The last one was great. The date is April 16th. I don't know if Waretown/Manahawkin area is too far for you, but I had a lot of fun, and they'll be giving away a Disney vacation that day!

Is this the place?

Sweet Jenny's Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant
(609) 698-2228
107 S Main St
Barnegat, NJ 08005

Here's a map link for Bonnie, Chuck, Gary, and anyone else. For us, take Route 72, to the LEFT fork at Route 554. For Bonnie and I, cut through Chatsworth to Route 72. If you need better directions, let me know. :)

Is anyone else planning to go?

That sounds good to me. I'll see if I can talk Linda into it. Does anyone know any more about it? Time, etc.?

You realize, of course, we now have to see who can get you to curse at Sweet Jenny's - I bet I can catch you cursing before you catch me.:drevil:

I can't get that map link to work, but its right on Rt 9 (they just call it Main Street).
-I'm assuming it will be the same as the last Disney day.
-It ran all day from 10-5.
-There was a local travel agency (owned by Disney...they had the red and white Disney name tags on) and they handed out travel brochures and papers, etc.
-You got a free pin and lanyard when you walk in.
-Each table gets an entry to win the Disney vacation. (But you must be present to win it.....I believe it is going to be drawn on that day)
-There was (free) Mickey cookie decorating when you were done. They gave you a huge (the size of your plate) mickey shaped cookie and let you decorate it using a table full of icings and sprinkles and such.
-The place was decked out in Mickey balloons, ToT stand up props, Disney music, etc.
-They had a few walk around characters. Grumpy was out while we were eating. (Actually, they took one look at my costume, Mickey Mouse, and asked if I could work at future Disney Days....we'll have to see. Since I made the costume myself, it's not really copywright infringments)
-There was a coloring page for kids, and when they were done they showed it to the Disney reps who gave them a small prize.
-You are encouraged to dress up (Many many many princesses/Buzz's/Incredibles there....lol)

As for the actual resturant. Its very casual, kid friendly, fairly inexpensive to moderatly priced resturant.
The menu is huge, and has everything you can imagine on it, from appetizers to sandwiches/burgers/cheesestakes/pasta/etc.
There is a huge ice cream counter (it's what they are known for) and mini golf out back. ( I don't know if it will be open yet though on April 16th)

I think that about covers it. If you have any more questions, let me know, or you can give them a call (someone else posted the number).
