I just hope they don't fill it up with something just as stupid.

They ought to put another Star Wars ride/attraction/show there and turn Backlot Express into a Mos Eisley Cantina.

Sounds like a move that would be widely popular! I saw where Backlot is down for refurb at the beginning of the year.....

I am getting so sick of hearing about Star Wars this and Star Wars that.

Get over it Star Wars is history they had success but that was a long time ago, so lets spend millions adding attractions for a film that last showed 10 years ago.

I love it milking Star Wars .... and I read they are going to put in the movie the Phantom Menace in 3D..... anything to milk a dollar.

I can image Jar Jar sticking his head of out of the screen Annie Meesa think we will be doing these films forever.

You may be tired of hearing Star Wars while lots of people are tired of hearing Potter. Either way, its still a huge franchise with a huge following and its not dead. Kids are still discovering Star Wars through the cartoons today. Star Wars is going to be a part of our culture for many, many years. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't huge still.

Star Wars is dead???? My teenage son and his friends disagree.

The only fans that spend as much on stupid geekdom stuff as Potter fans... Star Wars nuts. I can vouch personally.

I personally liked Sounds Dangerous? lol

I thought it was really clever- with the fact you were listening and imagining what was happening.

Yes it was dated.. and they need something better really.. but come on it was good back in the day! Good Ol Drew Carey!! :)

Meh...It was closed most of the time anyway. Unless there's a worthwhile replacement in the cards, this news is nothing to get excited over.

Get over yourself. Even those of us hardcore SW fans hate JarJar. Not really a fan of the newer movies. But everything else has serious merit. And many, many younger people are seeing SW and falling in love with it. My son is an example of this. I cannot watch anything Star Wars with the rest of my family because they all do not understand it. But my son has recently gotten into the SW lego sets like mad and loves The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. I finally showed him A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi a few weeks ago and he keeps re-watching them over and over. He's 8. I think a Star Wars theme in that small area of the park would be an awesome idea.

I heard a rumor on Twitter a while back that something Star Wars would be going into that space. Let's see if that turns out to be the case!

It was always closed when I was there, I know it was seasonal, but what season? I was there in the summer during peak times and it was closed, and in the spring, also closed.

We never saw the show. It was always closed when we were in HS. I guess we did a good job of missing peak days.

Can you hear the Von Trapp Family cheerfully singing along?

I know I can!
