Song Help!

I vote for #2 and suggest you play nearly the entire album: Billy Joel "The Stranger". I think it's his best album (and it was wildly popular), and it has my favorite Billy Joel song of all-time on it - "Vienna".

As a write-in vote off of the official list, I would second Pam's suggestion of "I Go Crazy" by Paul Davis.

As another write-in vote completely off of any list, you may want to go with "Reminiscing" by the Little River Band.

Granted, this is all wimpy stuff, but it's good wimpy stuff.

I like Celine´s and Billy Joel´s the same as appropriate for what you want them. Just play them and see which one lasts less (or more depending on what you want) and which one is more "danceable". Also, if it´s going to be played live by a band, make sure they know the one you pick and have it ready for the moment! :animwink:

I am sure the party will be a huge success! :sohappy:

j/k! ;)

well, i was going to vote for Informer...but i seriously think you should consider something from 1976...or like their favorite band or something. personally, i'd go for The Beatles, but your parents may not have the same taste i do.

I would have voted for Celine too. Good choice.

Just want to say, Freaky, that you having this beautiful party for your parents and putting alot of thought into details like this has definately changed my opinion of you.
:sohappy:

To a certain degree anyway!
Still don't know what to say about those whips. :p

I truely hope that you and your family have a good time at the party. I'm sure your parents will appreciate it.

well, Freak, do you have any irish ancestry in your family? cuz if you do, you could always play Top of the Mornin' To Ya by House of Pain. it's a good 'get-your-groove-on' song!

Thank you all :)

Yep, I had danced to Celine and the whole party was a huge success!!! They were surprised, the food was awesome, the DJ rocked, and the looks on their faces made every penny of it worthwhile :) :) :) (I've never seen the two of them glow like they did last night :) )
