I keep posting, but my information on each post keeps reading 12 posts, when I am like by my 20th. Someone needs to fix this.

Well, those are the rules, if you'll notice some Chit-Chat threads can have upwards of 5000 replies. Just imagine what some peoples post count would be from posts that had absolutely nothing to do with Disney or the parks!

Yea, but what about if it's Disney related? There should be a button that you could use to identify it as a Disney post.

Put Disney posts in Disney Threads....Chit Chat is for other interest, American Idol, March Madness, Lost, etc.....

You may think it's "dumb", but it is actually a good thing. If Chit Chat counted... anybody could have upwards 30000 posts, but none would have to be about Disney. If this was a general interest board that wouldn't be a problem... but this is a Disney board and as such, only Disney posts should count.

But don't worry... there are was around it. Stick around long enough and you'll figure it out.

Post counts mean nothing. And if Chit Chat counted I'd have over 500,000. :lol:

If you want to see your post count go up then go out into the general boards and contribute somthing worthwhile to an on going thread or, if you have some news or a question, start a new thread.

One of the things that makes this board very successful is that it severely limits any sort of self-glorification. We can't have picture signatures, we have limits on text signatures, several non-Disney subjects are taboo or banned all-together, etc..

What it comes down to is that this forum's focus is Disney theme parks - not you, not me, not anyone's whim. We stayed focused on the intended subject, and several of us are very happy with it.
