One of the things that makes this board very successful is that it severely limits any sort of self-glorification. We can't have picture signatures, we have limits on text signatures, several non-Disney subjects are taboo or banned all-together, etc..

What it comes down to is that this forum's focus is Disney theme parks - not you, not me, not anyone's whim. We stayed focused on the intended subject, and several of us are very happy with it.

Well said. That's basically the reason why I never go to MiceChat or DisBoards that much because they have HUGE pics or texts in their signatures that make the pages insanely long, and it takes foever for one page of a thread to load.

To be honest with ALL of you, with SOME who have taken what I have said too seriously, I really don't care how many posts I have. I just thought there was something wrong because my posts weren't adding up. It's not a big deal, so you don't have to tell me that I am complaining.

1. Inflamtory things about Steve. We respect the man and this site.

2. Uneducated or ignorant claims. We told you why your posts didn't show, then you said it was dumb.

If you are well-read, ask questions if you don't know, do some research, and post in an educated manner, you'll find yourself much happier at WDWMagic. I think it's safe to say we are not your typical fansite "Dizny r0x0rs!" community nor do we strive to be.

Only if this were true. Unfortunately, this happens way too often. You've been in the Rumors and General Discussion forums. Luckily there are enough well informed individuals here to correct any errors.
