Some questions about Disney Careers

I am going to be a sophomore in high school and I of course need to start planning what I want to do in college. I've been going to Disney for the past 14 years once a year, every year and I love Disney more than just about every other teenager I know.

A few weeks ago on my latest trip to WDW we took a tour of the UCF campus in Orlando and I really was interested in their Hospitality Management degree. It specializes in Theme Park and Attraction management so I was wondering does anyone have any info on this degree? I'm not looking for what the degree entitles for I can find that out on the UCF website but does anyone know what you can do at Disney with this degree? Does anyone know how closely Disney works with UCF with their Hospitality program?

Thanks :)

I never went there but I have heard that it is a great program.

The Faculty is very rich in knowledge of everything in the field.
Some of the people who teach there are past employees of Disney including A vice President of Entertainment for WDW.

Disney does recruit from the college too.
I say go for it.....

I wouldn't base deciding on a college to go to on whether or not they have the CP. BC is a great school and you can always apply for the college program, take the semester off to do it, the credits just won't count. Also, you can do internships without doing a CP, depending on your major (I'm an engineer and went straight to a PI)

Just letting you know there are options out there

I'm not asking what college to go to for a career in Disney. I am asking if anyone knows how good the program at UCF is for Hospitality Management. Thank you to all posters for helping :)
