Some new ideas for WDW...

Beauty and the Beast castle is not portrayed in any of the Disney Parks. :( I wish it was though.

And the Movie Ride idea sounds great, but I think that people would have to know before hand that this is an interactive show, be prepared for that. Maybe each is given a short line while they're waiting in line (just repeated every 15 guests or so,) telling them that it's something special, and when the time is right, say it or something...I'm just pulling that outta nowhere, I'm kinda multi-tasking right now.

I really like where you're going with that though. I like the idea of it centered on movies from today AND the past. Is it going to be Disney movies, or just movies in general??

Just Disney movies or maybe throw in Star Wars and Indiana Jones because of the deal with Lucas.

Yes
Ummm....it's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris.

Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, the name of the Disneyland castle, translates into Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Château=Castle
Belle=Beauty
Dormant=Sleeping

^^Just a little translation.

Actually, Beauty and the Beast's Castle isn't portrayed. The castle that supposedly provided the inspiration for the movie's castle is the Castle Alcazar in Segovia. (In Spain) The only two princesses that have castles in all of the Disney Theme Parks are Aurora, and Cinderella. You can even tell in pictures of the Disneyland Paris that the shrubbery and trees are manicured to look like the ones in Sleeping Beauty. All that gothic Renaissance look. :)

I wish that more of the princesses were featured, but, unfortunately, Cinderella and Aurora are the "big ones". Snow White's castle isn't really portrayed enough to really be a big deal, (it only shows for a little bit at the end, mostly silhouetted in front of a sunset in the sky) and Beauty and the Beast was made too late.:( Jasmine's palace would've been a really awesome one to recreate, but again, too late. Obviously, Atlantica is impossible, since you would only be able to truly appreciate it underwater. :lol:

Anyways, yeah. Just thought I'd let ya know. The French title is rather confusing for someone who doesn't know the meaning though. (Thank goodness I took French in high school, who knew THAT would come in handy??? :rolleyes::rolleyes:)

Anyways, I still think a BatB dark ride would really bring in some needed newness to Fantasyland.

I totally think Little Mermaid should have a dark ride, or some sort of attraction. Didn't they have a ride a while back? Why was that taken away?

The Disney Princesses are so "hot" right now, I don't know why they don't capitalize on them and make rides dedicated to each...:brick:

They have a show at DHS right now. There is a dark ride planned for DCA that is heavily rumored to be coming to Magic Kingdom where the 20k Leagues Under the Sea lagoon use to be.
