sadly enough, CM's can go from one park to another in costume... not to play, but to get family in.

Test Track in MGM isn't nearly as bad as Living Seas on Main Street USA Grizz.

And Disney is 100% ok with this.

I do indeed believe the young lady in the RnRC line wearing her Animal Kingdom uni was with family.

How inane considering the other things they "bust" CMs for - I would think disrupting the "show" would be a big no-no.

Ugh... That really is bad show when the CMs do that :(
I once saw a CM in full Journey Into Your Imagination garb get off of the monorail to the MK

Five strikes, and Disney's out!

As you can see from my avatar, Walt and John are not too happy and look DOWN on this news!

Time to TAKE ACTION when the D-Army gets fully organized. :fork:

It is the little things like CM's out of place in costume that are killing Disney magic. The whole point in the utilidors was to prevent this.

Oh and Andy Mation has been there since at least 2000 as that was when I first met him!

I don't remember the fire being in the western scene the last time I went. Of course my vehicle has only been stopped by the gangster but never a cowboy does this make a difference?

Yes. If you are loading in the front vehicle, you will stop in the Western scene and be "hijacked" by a cowboy. If you're in the back vehicle, you'll only stop in the gangster scene and have the vehicle be taken over by a gangster - "Bugsy" or whomever.

So next time, ask the Cast Member which line you are in, and try to see the explosion!

Hey Grizz, what does the D stand for in D-Army and what exactly is it? I have a good idea, but can you clarify?

To quote, mkt "It starts with a D, and it ends with Isney.

No, not Dribblesisney. No, not Dabearsisney. That D word that represents the second letter in this websites title, and is the finish to the SaveD_____ campaign.

That D word."

This surprises me. I always thought that it was wrong to even go into another land/area in your costume, let alone another park. When I worked in the magic kingdom, I was made to believe that you could get into trouble for simply not entering the tunnel or traveling backstage at the first opportunity. Going out of frontierland in costume was definitely out of the question (as I remember). This was only two years ago so it wasn't really that long ago. But, maybe things have changed. I do realize other parks must be different because Magic Kingdom is the only place that won't even let you take your costume home. We had to change in the dressing room every day before and after work.

My sister works at Paramounts Kings Dominion here in Virginia and she is required to wear a uniform under her costume (she is a character). If she wants to go walk around during her break time, she has to wear her street clothes and if she is caught walking around with her uniform on, (other than to escort the characters when she is an escort) she gets fined or put on "probation" for the day. I believe some of these parks are not paying attention to the little things causing the parks to "lose their magic"

The thing with the costumes is still an issue. I was told that while I was in my costume I could go no further than main street. To me its not a threatening issue, Disney is not 100% ok with it, but instead it is the GSMs around the World who do NOTHING to take action, remember, as long as you do not have your nametag on, you ar not considered in costume in your area. Perhaps these people are taking advantage of this.

And Grizz...The D-Navy is waiting for orders

Hmmm...take a close look at that TT CM...isn't that JONNIE?!

Seeing CMs from other 'lands' (let alone other parks) just sort of spoils the whole intended effect. Sadly, though, this seems to be the wave of the future. Can't CMs now leave after work wearing their costumes? So, I'm guessing if thats the new norm there is no telling where you will bump into that TT CM :brick:

It wasn't. I would have clubbed him if it were him!

I doubt Jonnie would do this. ;)

Bad show is like a slap in the face to us fanatics...the thing is though, most people probably didn't even notice...still doesn't make it right...

Maybe the other CM in the picture was telling the guy to scram...

Yes? No? Maybe? :lookaroun

Nice update.

As for CM's walking around in costume shopping or what not after work i say for shame. In my year working at MGM ahem i am sorry DISNEY MGM STUDIOS I was never on stage in my costume unless work related, this test tracker needs a magic lesson, this kind of stuff can easily pull you out of the environment, imagine seeing the alien in alien encounter at frontierland, it would blow your mind
