Bad show is like a slap in the face to us fanatics...the thing is though, most people probably didn't even notice...still doesn't make it right...

I agree. Sometimes we fanatics have a hard time "taking a step back" and thinking about how the normal people think

Seriously though. I had two of my co workers take a look at the picture who go to disney every two years and they still have NO idea what is wrong with the picture.

Cheaper than keeping the animation studio.

That's exactly what Andy himself said while he was making a Donald Duck balloon for my little sister, and my dad asked him how long he's been doing that at the Studios, and Andy replied to my dad quietly, "A little before they announced they were gonna close this studio. It's cheaper than keeping it running...plus, it gives guests something you normally don't get here: A FREE souvenir!" and my dad almost died laughing :lol:

And let me tell you, that balloon lasted for a good 3 months

As for the costuming issue - there's no excuse. It's too widespread to be accidental; it's a problem. It's a chip away; a chip that needs to be polished. Simple enough.

And no, the other CM wasn't scolding him. :lol: (Was kinda hard to snag a photo though.)

Well, I'm not in Memphis, nor am I in California. I am actually closer to "The Land" than the other two!

I came up with Memphis as a random spot. But how would YOU like to be represented in World Showcase??

I can't blame these cast members for going out into the other parks with their costumes still on. Those of us that have been with the company for a long time, remembered when the company would give us "walk time" to change out of those ridiculous and uncomfortable things. But alas, that has since been taken away from the cast, like a lot of other perks that we used to enjoy. Now, unless you work at MK, you don't get that time, and you either have to come into work early, unpaid of course, to get clean costumes, or clean them yourself at home. So don't be surprised, when you see costumed CMs pumping gas, or grocery shopping...

And pretty soon, as soon as the new wardrobe facility gets completed for MK, you'll start to see Jungle Skippers, and Haunted Mansion hosts the same way.....Enjoy.

Well, first, we'll take a look at the new Magic of Disney animation tour building!!

But seriously, folks, the new animation tour has all windows boarded up.

The studio has sadly closed. Michael Eisner, by the way, says that the attraction is not losing much; "great cell animation will be drawn!"

Mr. Mation likes to make Disney balloons. Actually, they're *very* good. I wonder if Mr. Mation was a previous animator.

Needless to say, it is sad to see balloon making a replacement of the studio that once was. And here's another photo of Mr. Mation:
