:sohappy: Great to hear TL is getting some love. Hope that whatever is next there will be just as successful as Crush n' Gusher!....Apparently there's been a second expansion beyond Crush n' Gusher which has been in the works for a very long time. Although the project's not been green lit at this time, hopes are high that with continued good attendance at the water parks, management will see the benefits of adding greater capacity to the park most easily expanded....it would be to the west of Crush n' Gusher, in an area referred to as the Boneyard by CMs.
Perhaps I missed something before...the RFID card would be what again? We are currently looking at the possibility of implementing a system where each on-site guest receives a Magic Pass for each night they spend in a Disney Resort hotel. So if a guest stays at the Pop Century Resort from Monday through Wednesday, then each day they go to the parks, they have one Magic Pass to spend. So what is a Magic Pass? A Magic Pass is a fastpass... but a fastpass you can spend on any attraction of your choice. Think a one-time Dream Pass. These would be embedded in your RFID card.
Good job on whetting so many appetites on this one. Sounds promising! :sohappy:And for those of you who think you've got all the scoop on the Magic Kingdom's future changes from the Fantasyland blueprints circulating on the web... well think again. Although I did tell you in May that the Magic Kingdom would see its borders expanded for the first time in 20 years, the blueprints are not all that's coming to the most visited theme park in the world.
Considering that there is so much detailed places in the films, you would think that it begs for a more spacious park for themselves.Could the expansion of TL be the proposed POTC water park?
*prays the 30 Mil graces a glass pyramid or two.*:lookarounI'm on it.
Wasn't it also you that had the discussion of the $30 million E-Ticket in Epcot? Has anything more come of that?
What is RFID?
One very simple reason. The go carts are one of the most popular attractions in all of WDW. If you were to follow the same logic why don't they just rip down space mountain after all I have a rollercoaster in my sucky hometown and then put up two more rides. And, really they could just move space mountain to one of the mini golf courses, they may get more visitors that way.OK here goes MHO. I have gokarts in my sucky hometown and I assume that everyone else has a place that has them near by to them too, I am probably wrong tho. So, why not get rid of indy speedway and put up two more rides. And, really they could just move them to one of the mini golf courses, they may get more visitors that way. But, oh well these are just my thoughts.
Supposedly, the Indy Speedway is being demolished for the Fantasyland expansion...
Or that TRON is coming there as a mini-land...
Think they were wishful-thinking type of rumor.
WOW your good I would have never thought to compare the well themed Space Mountain to a, lets face it, go kart track. Indy Speedway had its run in the parks now its time to move it elsewhere. I guess I just expect to be surrounded by more magic than a go kart track.
