Trip Report solo live trip report

Hello I’m Concetta and I’ve posted trip reports before but it’s been a while. We haven’t stopped going to Disney, it’s more because as my kids have gotten older it’s been hard to find time to write these trip reports. This time though….I'm solo! Originally it was going to be a short trip for my family of four with the goal of Disney Springs and Dole Whips because on our last trip in September we did neither. Unfortunately, our daughter Sadie had gotten sick a couple weeks ago and is near the max allowed for missed school days (in Indiana if you miss 10 days in the school year without a doctors note they report you to child services-she missed 5 in September for our last Disney trip and is currently sitting at 8 missed school days) and our son's first tournament basketball game is tonight. So after discussing with my husband, I decided that I was going to go alone. I was still on the fence about whether or not I was actually going to go through with it until last night. Tomorrow is my only full day at Disney and I am not 100% sure what I will be doing but my goal is completing the 4 parks 1 day challenge because I have always wanted to do it but no one else in my family does. My goal will be at least one ride, one snack/meal, and a photo with the park icon for each park. My quick math shows me that I will have about 3 hours at each park and about 30 minutes for transportation.
My friend/co-worker will be taking me to the airport today around 2pm for my 4:36pm flight and I am scheduled to land around 7pm tonight. Since I am going solo, I decided that the safest and cheapest option for transportation to All Star Movies is with Mears. No one in my family other than my husband and kids know I am doing this trip so I will not be posting on social media, which means this trip report will be my only update to the world.

Went straight to flight of passage. Went under the ride entrance at 7:32 into the preshow at 7:43 and out of the ride at 8:01!

I realized while in the line that I’ve never done the stand by line before so I was seeing things I’ve never seen before.

Now I’m heading to grab something to eat and use my LL for the safari.

My mom missed two months of school one year and still passed. Of course, this was in the 70s and not today.

Grabbed a chocolate Croissant and headed to the safari!

I was surprised at how good that was! I enjoyed it while walking in the safari LL Line. I took the last bite right before the gate opened and I got to take a seat on the vehicle in a row all by myself!

After the safari, I headed towards dinosaur. Stopping to take some selfies with the tree of life!

I’m sad to see dinoland go but also excited for something new! We love Encanto and Indiana Jones.

I’m a big CSI fan! So I’m really going to miss seeing Hodges on Dinosaur.

While waiting to get my icon photo they were doing the bird show! It was so cool to see them flying above!

Currently on a bus to the yacht club so I can grab a boat to Hollywood studios to check park number 2 off my list.

Stopped for a potty break at the Yacht Club and headed to the boat. The boat pulled up as soon as I started to walk onto the deck. Perfect timing!

Arrived at Hollywood Studios around 10:15.

Headed right to ABC Commissary because it’s someplace I’ve never been. I got the pork taco kids meal with double rice because I don’t like black beans, well I don’t like any beans except green beans.

I’m pretty hungry so this tastes pretty good but not sure if I’ll come to this locations when in Hollywood studios. Backlot express has always been our go to!
I have a feeling I’m only going to get one thing done here. All the waits are pretty long and I did all my LL for Epcot and MK because there are things I really want to do there. Think I’ll just do MMRR which currently has a 55 minute wait and then take my photo and head to Epcot

Got in line for MMRR at 10:39 with a posted 55 minute wait. I snacked on my popcorn while in line.

Got on the ride at 11:13. Way less than the posted wait time! Got my pictures done with the Chinese theater and now I’m waiting for my Starbucks order. With my starbies in hand, I’m heading to the skyliner!

Look!!!! They spelt my name right!!!!!

Skyliner to Epcot!

First skyliner was Monsters Inc themed and now I’m on a Haunted Mansion one!

enter international gateway and headed towards the land.

Loved seeing all the topiaries out!

I had a 12:55 soarin but I figured I’d try to hope on living with the land first.

When I got to the land I still had 20 minutes before my LL for soarin. I decided to stop at the potty and then rest on a bench. While on the bench I tried to see if I could move my time up. Yup! Right away! I got one for 12:30 when it was 12:29! Perfect!

Headed straight to soarin and I’m currently waiting to board row 1.

After soarin I got in the Living with the Land stand by line. It was posted 15 minutes but I don’t think it took that long.

Once I was done there I headed to take a pic with Walt

I was on a mission for dole whip so I headed to the outpost. Just trying to waste time before my 2:35 frozen LL.

I’m currently sitting on a bench outside of China just people watching and enjoying the warmth. I was a little chilly this morning but I’m sweating now so I’m glad I didn’t bring my sweatshirt that I would’ve been stuck carrying all day.

Currently on the monorail on my way to the TTC.

I have LL for mansion, jungle, and pirates. Which is more than I thought I would be able to accomplish. I’m shocked that I’m so ahead of schedule! I didn’t think I’d get to MK until 6ish. It’s probably because I didn’t spend much time at DHS but it’s not my favorite park and I didn’t want to see a show. I regret not meeting characters there though.

Props for riding all the transportation - bus, boat, Skyliner and monorail! (And ferry if you took it to MK from TTC.)

Once I got off the monorail at the TTC I decided to take the ferry to MK. I figured this completed every form of transportation in one day as well. Bus-friendship boat-skyliner-monorail-ferry. Woohoo!

While on the ferry I looked to see what I could eat. I decided on old faithful, Columbia harbor house for some kids meal salmon.
As soon as I walked into MK I noticed the parade was going on. I stopped and took a couple of pictures. I’m still shocked I made it here before the parade ended!

I walked straight to get my food. I love mobile ordering!!! This time I sat upstairs with a view (out of a dirty window) of the haunted mansion. It’s pretty quiet up here. Maybe 4 other tables have people seated at them.

I think I’m going to rest up here for a little and then take a ride on the train.

I'm enjoying your solo TR! (I've gone solo a number of times, although not recently.) It's fun because you can often meet some of the other guests in line, or have a pleasant chat with the cast members in the parks. Looking forward to reading more and seeing your photos!
