Trip Report solo live trip report

Hello I’m Concetta and I’ve posted trip reports before but it’s been a while. We haven’t stopped going to Disney, it’s more because as my kids have gotten older it’s been hard to find time to write these trip reports. This time though….I'm solo! Originally it was going to be a short trip for my family of four with the goal of Disney Springs and Dole Whips because on our last trip in September we did neither. Unfortunately, our daughter Sadie had gotten sick a couple weeks ago and is near the max allowed for missed school days (in Indiana if you miss 10 days in the school year without a doctors note they report you to child services-she missed 5 in September for our last Disney trip and is currently sitting at 8 missed school days) and our son's first tournament basketball game is tonight. So after discussing with my husband, I decided that I was going to go alone. I was still on the fence about whether or not I was actually going to go through with it until last night. Tomorrow is my only full day at Disney and I am not 100% sure what I will be doing but my goal is completing the 4 parks 1 day challenge because I have always wanted to do it but no one else in my family does. My goal will be at least one ride, one snack/meal, and a photo with the park icon for each park. My quick math shows me that I will have about 3 hours at each park and about 30 minutes for transportation.
My friend/co-worker will be taking me to the airport today around 2pm for my 4:36pm flight and I am scheduled to land around 7pm tonight. Since I am going solo, I decided that the safest and cheapest option for transportation to All Star Movies is with Mears. No one in my family other than my husband and kids know I am doing this trip so I will not be posting on social media, which means this trip report will be my only update to the world.

I'm enjoying your solo TR! (I've gone solo a number of times, although not recently.) It's fun because you can often meet some of the other guests in line, or have a pleasant chat with the cast members in the parks. Looking forward to reading more and seeing your photos!
Yes! It’s so fun chatting with people in line. Some are amazed that I’m doing this. CMs are great too! I’ve done 2 cast compliments today.

After dinner I headed to the Frontierland train station. I met a super nice couple from Louisiana that was taking their first vacation away from their kids.

I got off at fantasyland station and took the back way to Tomorrowland which is something I’ve never done.

I bought my son a toy (won’t mention what it is because he might see this haha) and then headed to the peoplemover! It’s one of my favorites!

This means i have officially completed the 4 parks 1 day challenge!!! I might not have done it with “park exclusive snacks” but I did eat something in each park!
Then I did more shopping and bought something for my husband and Sadie. I also got myself a new shirt.
Currently sitting near the Adventureland entrance in the hub after finishing a Mickey premium bar. Figured might as well rest for an hour or so before the fireworks. Then I’ll head straight to jungle cruise for my LL.

You met your goals and had a great time!
It was pretty awesome when the exit CM at magic kingdom started cheering and clapping for me when I told him I completed it!

Thank you! It really was an amazing day. Wish I could do it all over again!
Yay! I'm glad you made it to all 4 parks!
Thanks! Now I have to go back to the real world. :(

While waiting for the fireworks I had some nice conversations with the Canadian couple next to me. We talked about Disney crowds, Disney jobs, my job, and family. While waiting for the fireworks I heard someone say very loudly “the launch” and the whole crowd turned to the sky and we could see if over Tomorrowland.

The fireworks were great as always! I notice something new each time. Tink didn’t fly though which has never happened before when I’ve been there. The little girl next to me was sad because he grandma kept telling her that tink would fly.

As soon as the fireworks finished I went straight to my jungle cruise LL. Crazy because the wait time was listed as 20 minutes but literally no one was in the regular line. I was boarding my boat at 8:26
IMG_5664.jpeg

Since wait times were so low I went straight to Pirates which is another of my favorite rides! I usually ride it twice per trip but without my husband here to remind me to ride it again, I forgot.

After pirates I headed to my HM LL. Glad I had a LL because the stand by listed 15 minutes but it was beyond the gate and not moving. Even us LL folks didn’t move for a while. I’m guessing they were having problems because we were stopped a few times when we finally got on.

I got stopped right in front of these guys so I was able to get some cool pictures.

After HM I was cooked. I walked towards the backside of the castle so I could walk through it.
IMG_5684.jpeg

Grabbed some pictures from the front as well, on my way to Casey’s corner because I was very hungry again and I knew that would be the only place open with real food.

I headed out of MK to the bus stop. I was so tired but in a way still very hyped up from all I accomplished!
IMG_5689.jpeg
The exit CM was clapping and cheering for me when he asked if I did it and I said yes. It was an awesome way to end the day! I got to the movies bus stop right as the bus was loading and I was on my way back to movies by 10:06. That means I opened AK and closed MK (it did have extra hours for deluxe guests). I had some pretty good luck with transportation. I actually didn’t wait much as all for anything. When I got back to movies, I realized I didn’t have a drinky drink all day. So I grabbed another pinacolava to enjoy on my way to my room and while I packed my bags.
IMG_5695.jpeg

In the room, I packed everything I could into my backpack. It’s pretty tight and bursting at the seems. I hope they don’t ask me to size check it lol. My coworker guessed I would do 32,000 steps on my 4 park challenge day so I checked this morning and he was pretty close. Hey don’t judge my lack of movement on some days Sunday I never put my watch on and I work at an office haha
IMG_5698.png

This morning I grabbed some resort pictures as I walked to grab breakfast. I didn’t visit all the areas of the resort but that’s ok, I feel bad being here without my kids because I know they would love the Dalmatians and Toy Story area.

IMG_5699.jpeg

Once I got to the dining hall I took some pictures of the posters for my son. He loved the Rocketeer when he was little and now he love Tron. I know he’ll love these!

I got a Mickey waffle kids meal to start my day. I mean is it even a Disney trip if you don’t have Mickey waffles at least once? Hahahahah
IMG_5703.jpeg

Now I’m on the bus back to MCO so I can return to the real world and drink Dr Pepper again hahaha
