Does ANYONE want to come on for a Sam Wright tribute podcast. I'm getting rather frustrated at getting refusal after refusal. It's probably just a bad idea and nobody cares about him anymore.
Basically what I know about him, I just read on Wikipedia. I don’t think I would be the most interesting one for a podcast, but props to you for wanting to honor him. I’d join you so you have someone!

HAHAHAAAAAA!!!!

It’s time for another Tegan’s Top 4!

That last round was pretty,...sweet!!

Let’s get slightly more topical this time,
shall we?!

What I wanna know is....

What are your top four favorite Resort hotels at Walt Disney World?!

Doesn’t matter if you’ve stayed there or not, all reasons for your list are perfectly valid!

Tegan’s Top 4:
1. The Contemporary
2. Old Key West
3. Boardwalk
4. Polynesian

The Contemporary is simply iconic, a perfect representation of that late 60s-early 70s Space Age aesthetic. It’s still incredibly modern feeling today, and the views of the Magic Kingdom are to die for! And Monorail transportation!!! Last time we stayed here, I didn’t set foot anywhere that I couldn’t travel by Monorail!

Old Key West feels like it’s own little town. It just sprawls! Plus there is water transport to Disney Springs, which is nifty. This may feel slightly high on the list to some, but this is the resort I’ve stayed at the most, as my family got into DVC in its very first year. Fun fact: this actually used to be called the DVC Resort!

Boardwalk is just a dream! Especially at night! There is just a unique atmosphere that feels almost like an extension of Main Street USA to me in terms of nostalgia for a bygone era (that you never personally experienced). Walking distance to Epcot?! Umm, YES!!! There is also water transport to Epcot and DHS, and bus transport to MK and AK making this resort (along with the other Epcot resorts) quite possibly the most diverse in terms of types of transport available!

The Polynesian is just paradise! The luau dinner show is absolutely spectacular! I dearly miss the old lobby. But this resort’s architecture is as majestic and captivating to me now as it was when I was a tiny child. I just love it!

Alright!! Let me hear your top 4!!!

1. Animal Kingdom Lodge for reasons that should shock ABSOLUTELY nobody.
2. Wilderness Lodge for similar reasons
3. Polynesian because I love the aesthetic and the background music, plus Ohana is my favorite meal on property
4. Cabins at Fort Wilderness which should also not shock anyone

I am SO a BoardWalk person.

Still have several others to peek in to (yes, I do plan on a resort-hopping day whenever I make it back), out of the ones I have, Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian were especially gorgeous.

Animal Kingdom Lodge and Riverside are definitely on my "check out" list. Pop Century may be, it just depends on how much I need to see the giant Big Wheel.
